One time my cousins friend dragged us along to some cosplay convention and there was this really fat guy dressed up as an orc...
just thinking of it...
anyways, yes the leg warmers are off, the armor is the wrong color because i couldn't find gray vinyl and the hot pants are the wrong color because well, have you ever tried to find green hotpants?!
I hope to get the skirt finished tomorrow... and the shirt is ganna be the hard part T_T
I once used a Kosh (babylon 5) costume at a convention and that was too funny. I didn't see a thing and was lile bumping into other ppl. The best was when i bumped into a Darth Vader and knocked him over ^^. me a 5,7 guy running a 6,4 guy over just rules (the Kosh costume was kinda heavy ).
Shame that i got no pics.

Not since a particularly embarassing incident involving me, three gallons of tequila, a monkey and a bucket of live oysters...

Does anyone have any photos of THAT?
Does anyone have any photos of THAT?
Well, not any more...
Speaking of photos, it seems to me like Cosplayers would really need access to good photpgraphic services while at cons... they put SO much work into their outfits, but usually when i see photos they are really blurry or dark (obviously just a snapshot). Does anyone ever set up good photographic equipment at these Cosplay cons? I'd consider bringing up my digital rig to a con and shooting really high-end portraits if people had need of the service...

cons usually have photo shoots avaible to cosplayers, also sites like cosplay.com send photograhers that have pretty good cameras. Now days since most people have digi cams more pics are turing out better.
nobody does cosplay here in korea that i have seen. i explained the concept to wife and showed her some websites. she just shook her head and accused me of wanting to see teenage girls dressed like elementalists.
i would go as a mesmer, darnit i am not 40 yet and only a little fat. grrr.
