No Name?

Ok... i dont know about any one else but i think it would be cool if we could name our wepons! It would be a small thing to do. Very simple and easy to put into the next game. Does any one else think that would be cool? Like you can name it in your inventory and then when you look it says for ex: Zarr'oc (my wepons name) then under it what it truly is, Cleaver of Axe mastery. I think that it would be really sweet. And if you customize it... well i dont know but mabye... lol not sure but you would be able to do something better if you did custome it! any thoughts?

Well this has been suggested alot, along with more customization options. I personnally think this is a super idea.

Just add it to the list of things that happen when you customize a weapon. Although I think the whole system of customizing is flawed. Why should you be penalized if you want to sell a good weapon if you want to make it better? Seems pointless to me, with PVP characters and all.

O another good thing would to have it so that if you dye your wepon a color it actualy looked like it... man that ticks me off...

The first thing I expected from customising my weapon was to see "[character's name]'s halfmoon of enchanting", etc. Although an option to call it anything would be cool as well

I had an idea like this a while back, but it would "cost" at the expense of the weapons mods. What I mean is you could buy grips/hafts/pommels/hilts, etc. that you could put text on but you would sacrifice a more useful mod. Obvioulsy this just applies to modable weapons, but still. So you could have a sword of Pwnership, or a noob slaying fellblade. Not exactly names though. I just think it would be funny to see what people would come up with.

seems like that quest in Diablo 2 LOD where you can personalize your item... does no use.. just puts a name on it.. and another reason why no one will buy an item with you name on it.
