Necro Warrior
Attributes: Swords: 9
Tactics: 9
Death Magic: 12+4
Soul Reaping: 3+1
Skills:
1.) Flurry
2.) Sever Artery
3.) Gash
4.) Hamstring
5.) Virulence {E}
6.) Healing Signet
7.) Necrotic Traversal
8.) Rez Sig
Since you are the assassin, you may want to wait until a battle already starts unless you're the only warrior. Come up to someone unexpecting, make em bleed, deep wounded, then throw up Virulence and sprint off (evade if must) to next target, or if any corpses are around, Necrotic Traversal as your "shadow step" teleport, plus it'll do some hurt to anyone near it.
It's the best I can do with conditions when replicating the assassin. It is a decent build, I give it good props.

I'm thinking we'll be seeing Restore Condition and Martyr getting a lot more use in Factions. However, even with these skills being used, widespread condition stacking will be another way of applying pressure to an enemy team since it will take considerable energy to remove them and it requires players to use valuable elite slots on condition removal instead of energy management and offense. As I've said before, I think Factions will make GW a lot more complex and interesting.

*holds back the rage.* Have you actually tried this in PvP RA at the least? It does quite well and in PvE it works as a good support build. Unless you wanna try to use Skullcrack and make people dazed, this may be as close as you get for Assassins also in terms of looks for necro primary.

You don't seem to understand how Mend Ailment works. A monk wouldn't try to remove all the conditions as fast as she can. She'll just use Mend Ailment for a super-efficient heal whenever the degen starts to be a problem.
It really bothers me that I have to keep explaining this, but protection-based monks like it when you throw lots of petty conditions onto one character. It helps them.

That's good for them, but it's a support build, my god. You people think this build is supposed to go in by HIMself and kill everything? It's supposed to help with conditions and degen ontop of your casters and tanks/rangers dealing pure dmg to your target.
P.S. What makes you think monks are considered "shes"?

But it's not helping. Not significantly. A real warrior would be indescribably more useful to the team.

Because I'm speaking from my own experience as a monk. ![]() |

Okay, your character can do very well at degening a single character. Fine with that. But putting yourself in very high risk while doing something that some profession else can do much better without that risk, is something to be considered.
Of course you'd get wins in RA.

Degen conditions are fine, but you have to use them correctly. As others have said, just stacking degen conditions will only give a bigger healing bonus from Mend Ailment, which essentially nullifies whatever damage they would have done.
However condition stacking can be useful to bury more serious conditions, such as blind, dazed, deep wound, and/or crippled. Assassins have a lot of potential in this department, which is why I think Restore Condition and Martyr will become more used in Factions. Should be interesting.

And it keeps bothering me after using this on and abusing Prot Monks how anyone can say condition stacking is worthless. <EDIT: not this build, but a condition build>
Its for a pressure build, which I see becoming much much more popular than it has been.
If you use it out of context, yeah waste of the skills and energy, but thats just like anything, use it at the wrong time or in the wrong team and BAM waste.
Insofar as the build in the OP...
Nothing special nor new, and the only thing you have that might work well is Virulence. Necrotic is about worthless as a Necro primary due to armor(Lack there of), what if you happen to jump yourself into the middle of their warriors killing your other casters? Dead. Or into your warriors going after a half team ball that they are using PBAoE and AoE to defend? Dead.
And then again a Necro can, from a distance, do a much better job with conditions and spread them on top of that than this build can. Which would be preferable for an interruptable(spells) condition inflicter. Not upclose where Plague Touch and knockdowns become a problem.
