Ecto drop rate new UW

I wondered what the drop rate was like in the new UW

After clearing the place we had a whooping 1 ecto for the whole team, and i cant remember what dropped it.

So how many have you had and what drops them?

I've cleared it awhile ago and only 2 dropped. One of those spiders in the first area dropped one, not sure what dropped the next one though. ( It was in the third part )

i went all the way through on an 8 man team. we had 3 drops- 2 of them for the same guy. didnt pay attention to what dropped them tho. im guessing its pretty close to the old UW on drops, and with the amount of farming for new greens going on, expect the rate of ectos coming into the economy to at least triple - at least until the farming ends.

I get 3-4 a time down there, usually from banished dreamriders?

I've done 2 runs, on both runs 2 ectos dropped. I was doing it with guildies so it was pretty much the same team in both runs, one of them got 3 ectos another got 1. I think 3 dropped in the second level and 1 in the third.

Ectos drop from the "old" UW creatures, which are the Terrorweb Dryders and Banished Dream Riders. Ectos won't drop from the "new" UW creatures: the Grasps of Insanity, the Chaos Wurms, the Scythes of Chaos, and the Darknesses.

As for my runs, ectos average between 0 and 2 for a run.

concur with 0-2 ectos on several runs ive been on

my first 2 runs no ectos, the rest of them was 1 and only 1

Usually 2-3 ecto per run here. Tho you know it's going to be a bad drop run if none fall by the time you get to the Darknesses.

We did have one ecto drop from one of those battle hedghogs tho, so it may be they are like Coldfires. Dont drop ecto 99/100 but on the odd occasion they do.

I got one on my second run. Drop rate isn't fantastic, and its obvious that the drop in prices is due to horders trying to sell out their stock, thinking the 'new UW' will make it worthless :/

that is execly what i think , all the ebayers or just ecto collectors , selling them all to merchent god knows why ...

Our team had 3 drop and I believe all 3 were from the Terrorwebs.

my group gotten 4 ecto drops in 1 run. Plus greens, so it was a little crazy getting all this good stuff.

My 5th run yielded 6 ectos on the first 3 maps alone.

First run we got 3 ectos and 2 were for me.
Second run none dropped.
Third and forth, 1 dropped in each run.

I'm averaging about 2 every 5 trips... As a group we see about 1 ecto per trip in a 5 man party (only last to courtyard) for the group. larger groups don't seem to get as much. But they normally last to get the green weapon drops. so its pretty balanced if you ask me... Small party ecto run... Large party Green run.. But again... this is more of a underworld Challenge then it is a farming location... The challenge of reaching the final bosses if wonderful. and an appropriate green prize for doing so is well worth the hours long effort.

Buy the way just off chance I did a few runs 3 man teams into the first area. I didn't see much improvement in ecto drops... so I don't think this is an area to focus on farming in that way. its better to think of it as a challenge area.

If I read al your replys I say the average drop is 2 ectos.

amen... and about time thank you... make ecto cheaper over a long period of time and drive the hoarding jerks out of business... an the SLOW market driven drop in price is definatly the way to do it... when they reset the prices all they did was buy them cheap and hoard them till the price skyrocketed... with the slow decline they are seeing profits dwindle with each passing day.. and forcing them to sell out to maintain their gold value. making the price lower slowly. Thank god for supply and demand curve. Economics 101... Who knew you could learn it in a game.. lol someone should write a paper on this for an econ class... I would love to see that...
