the only thing rank "does" is show how much experience you have in the pvp tournament (aka tombs). And you can show off certain amounts (R3, R6, R9 and R12) with an emote (deer, wolf, tiger and phoenix). Also note i said experience, and not skill, before ppl start flaming ranks and groups with rank-req. again ...
