Waypoints and Notes for the Map

Whenever I want to go to a specific location, I often end up going somewhere else. I think putting one's own waypoints in his own map could be more useful. By waypoints, I mean something like the green thing that directs you where the quest. I mean, it could be useful for a person if he is going to a place that isn't really related to a quest and he often forgets where he really wants to go to. Then once he reaches his destination, he could just remove them.

Another thing, I think pinning notes and labelling them on your own map could be useful as well. Like putting a note on a map to know where this certain collector/merchant or some other special NPC once you've been to that place so when you need him again, you can just refer to the notes you've pinned on your own map.

I'm not really sure if these would work but it would seem a lot easier going to a destination.

agree, 100% I was about to make a suggestion here for this when I saw this post
Espically when you run into a bosses with elite skills and you want to remember where they were and such. Personally I think collectors once talked to should appear as little pins on your map that says what they want and what they will give.

I'd -love- to be able to have notes for my map. It'd make things so much easier.

That is a great idea! I absolutely agree that they should automatically appear as a little pin and when you hover over it with your mouse, it will tell you what they collect and what they will give.

Also i like the idea of putting your own pins with notes for your own personal reasons. That would be super!

Yes this would be a great addition, you could add boss positions, strategies, shortcuts.
