Channeling Magic?? Have you seen this??

I got a gold drop today helping out in THK, and these were the stats:

Glowing Rod
Earth Damage: 11-22 (Req 12 Channeling Magic)
Energy: +3 (While health is below 50%)

Just wondering if anyone else has come across something like this?

This is why I've been farming runes. I'm going to unlock them all without spending any faction! ^.^

Farming faction is a lot easier than farming runes.

Channeling magic is for the new ritualists...seems a little early for letting things like this drop in the normal game. Lets hope it doesn't disappear after this weekend! ^^

Channelling - we going Rolemaster ?

Got a Glowing Rod lightning damage 7-11(req 4 channeling) from a chest outside Beacons Perch.It wasn`t a chest that required a key to open,just a random chest.

Nope. Just won Halls and a Channeling Focus item dropped from the chest.

IMO, it's pretty dumb. It had better just be for the weekend because why would a chapter 1 player want an item that they couldn't possibly use. Okay yes, there are prehaps some reasons... but logically, just seems a little dumb.

Got a couple channeling staves in the south shiverpeaks.

someone tried to sell me a 11-21 (ritualist) wand for 50k

I told him I'd rather wait for chapter 2 then buy it then because it's pretty commmon

he then said "....in 3 months, so why wait?"

Hmmm. chest like the one outside thunderhead keep... it spawns sometimes... in the middle of the trees...

Anyway i got req.10 Commuting [or something].... Rod, 11-21, with 9% Skill recharge GOLD....

I saw someone else with an Eerie Rod (communing requirement)
Don't remember the stats. Was white with no mods. Looked like the rod in the OP.

This raises a question, will people that only purchase the regular game, also get weapons for the other chapters in drops etc? Because that seems unfair considering they'd have to sell them to be of any potential use.

It may seem unfair but from a business standpoint, it's a great way to encourage people to buy their product.
