I hope to see a fire staff with a dragon head, and fire spits out from the dragon when you attack

What would be really cool, would be if they chose some to make as green weapons named after the designers...

That might be nice if they had Role-Playing names, but can you immagine 'Ward Against Noob's Firey Death Staff' or something? "Ur Mom's Maul of Doom"?

Thats an issue, but reasonably speaking, who's going to put a name like that on an entry? Besides, I'm sure ANet wouldn't be so foolish as to do that... Maybe for April Fool's Day...

Zodiac I wish every single one of your weapons was entered. Very, very nice. Guild Wars really needs some weapons like that in the game.

Thats because most detail in games has to be skin based. I'm a 3d modeler, not much of a texture artist

In games involving things like the Doom 3 engine they can afford to go high poly on 3d meshes

Ever notice in guoldwars though that some structures and items dont have much geometry to them but have painted on graphics? Companies are quite adept at tricking people where they can and its become an artform for years lol.

To put it simple, most weapons I have there have more polygons then the ones currently in the game

it's either or a combination or lazyness and making the game actually work for computers that don't have 408540GB of ram and a $5000000 video card.

You don't wanna do that! There are no prizes. And you get called a looser if you mention you created one of the items. Don't do Anet's lazy job, oh wait seems like you just did. And wasn't it fun?

The "ivory blade" is excellent and the style fits in with the Cantha setting. I would certainly consider adding that to my warrior's collection - I would buy one out-right if she wasn't primarily an axe-wielder

Hate to burst your bubble but if you submitted 10 swords you may have been disqualified because you were only allowed to submit one design of each type of weapon. And picking the best of your 10 swords would kind of defeat the purpose of the limit. I hope im wrong because your designs are awsome.

i want a fiery ivory blade of fortitude...........hell just any ivory blade would be cool. that is a seriousley awesome sword. i would like the handle to be black though but the rest of the hilt and everything else is flawless.

I sent an email to the areanet people about a week ago now...this was the response I got....on the 21st.

The Ivory Sword reminds of me of those Swords the Ghostly Heros carries, and the Obsidian Sword reminds me of a fellblade.

That Ivory Blade looks like a sword version of a hand-axe don't ya think. But, anyway, still looks good. That Obsidian sword also looks good.

Edit: It was Ivory 'Blade' and not sword.
