Solo Monk Dreadnaught's Drift Farming

Sk8tborderx, how do you do it with a W/Mo?
I don't have a monk so using a W/Mo is the only way I can do this.

Here is what I use:
Armor:
Full Glads
Ascalon Helm

Weapon/Shield:
any sword will work/Malinons shield/Ivors staff (perfect for soj)

Attributes:
Healing: 8
Smite: 12
Strength: 11 (+3 from runes)
Tactics: 9 (+1 from rune +1 from helm)

Skills:
Sprint
Balanced stance
Dolyak signet
SoJ
Blessed aura
Breeze
Mending
Balth spirit

Put mending and balth spirit right before you fight. After you aggro cast Blessed aura and switch to your staff then cast SoJ. After SoJ is up switch to your shield/sword and remove blessed aura and wait until they are dead.

I'm not getting any rares but the money is still good.

I made it, whew, man what a long-run, got nothing but some worthless blue stuff,
but got a real nice gold sword off a Tundra Giant on the way there, I discovered something in this run, I really like to kill Tundra Giants, they are a great challenge, at least for me...
I just ran thru the Blessed Griffons, do they ever drop anything good like the desert
ones??

@ Kain630 - I get about 10-15 purples and about 2-3 golds every run. I make most of my money though off of the crafting materials.

@ SirShadowrunner - Do not bother with blessed griffons they never drop anything good. Most likely you will get a lot of feathers and if you are lucky maybe a blue. I used to farm them hoping to make more money but trolls are even more profiatble then them.

Skip the monk and just build a forge runner and run up there..then just ran back out of dreads..then back in..easy as that. ( I personally have 2 accounts and a laptop next to me so I can just zone with a second char). So far I've gotten gold drops outta both chests but nothing in the rare catagory). One purple chaos axe..and a sup divine rune...so it is possible to still get some good stuff there.

ehh? And why shouldn't you kill the mountain giants while you're there? People have proved that they do drop some good stuff.

Both these chest drop crap now. Got up there and opened both 1 Blue, 2 purples and a whole lotta whites.

i found this frozen chest and the other chest over 6 months ago and used to farm it every single day... found 3 crystaline swords and others... ive only showed 2-3 guildies when i played... i havent played GW since Oct... i no longer have an account... all you need is a runners build using the W/Mo... run to the chest where the weapons drop but do not aggro the bad guys... run to the chest were the armor drops die cuz the monsters swarm u... spawn... walk out into snake dance and back into dreadnaughts... i was able to do this with 60 DP... the spawn of monsters may have changed since ive done it but this run was well worth it... u get tons of steel and linen and other rare crafting materials...

my best drop was a unid gold crystaline sword which i sold for 300k 2nd was a purple unid crystaline sword i sold for 120k... 3rd was a sup absorption

high tactic high healing... NO sup runes... a good -2dmg shielf while enchanted

i believe my bar was

endure pain
mending
sprint
charge (e)
healing breeze
smite hex
balance stance
heal signet

10 or so heal
tactic was high around a 7 sec charge
strength was around a 8 sec sprint

i cant remember its been 4 months since ive played the game.... i made well over 1000plat from the frozen chest and lost strongbox...

Nevermind.

eh guys what does nerfed mean i have heard it a lot and dont really know what it is. thanks in advance.
