Should come down in price too, finally as well.

They mention nothing of changing any odds. They simply state that they made them less scarce. That could be accomplished any number of ways, including by getting them from a collector.
You spent this by salvaging: 22 hides x 22 expert salvages x 16g per salvage = 352g so, 352g + 22 hides = 4 fur squares If using the collector that "doesn't" exist, you would have spent this: 20 hides x 0g = 5 fur squares |
