Hi,
I'm only level 5 and I've got a question about an unexplained little symbol I've see on the bottom right corner of at least two weapons in my backpack so far. It kind of looks like a gold-colored four-leaf clover. (The top, left & right 'leaves' are pointy, whereas the bottom one isn't.)

I tried to link to some screen-shot closeups from an fb page but it might not work.

Thanks very much.

If it's the symbol I'm thinking of, then it means that weapon is assigned to one of your weapon set slots

Thanks rovon! That's it!

(p.s. does this game ever get interesting or is it always just a lot of shlepping around doing chores? Seems like there are no puzzles to figure out or anything like that. And a lot of it seems to be about trying to show off features of one's avatar to others - yawn.)

(and the wiki is a really good general resource as well)
Thanks naturelover.
Before I posted here, I searched for the mystery symbol (using terms like "icon", "symbol" "bottom right corner", "weapon", "inventory", "backpack", etc) on not only the wiki, but this forum as well as google images. The problem was that I didn't realize it was supposed to be a star (It's got 4 ends, one pointy & 3 rounded - I've never seen a star represented like that before.) If I had, I would've found the Weapon Set wiki page (which I found after rovon's post). Perhaps I'll add the word "symbol" or "icon" to the wiki - that might help others.

This game is 9 years old so a lot of the mysteries are finished with or otherwise can't be answered. But what you can do, is you should pick up quests you find interesting etc and play those, there's so many quests in the game that take you on mysterious adventures. Sorry that you're having a bit of a bad experience at the moment, I found that you have to seek them out rather than that it gets given to you. Good luck and have fun!
