Game Update - 11/06-2014

"Fixed client crash."
At least according to the Wiki.

I had decided to get back on the game today after about a year away.
I did a couple VQs, then got a message that "a new build of Guild Wars is available."

So I logged out, closed the program, and tried to start it again.

Now the program won't run and brings up an "A serious error has occurred that prevents the program from continuing to run" message.

The error message details start with:
"Unable to write patch file 'C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.000".

Is anyone else having this issue?

I was able to log in, took a bit of time to upload the new files, but everything else went smoothly...

Wasn't logged in at the time of the update but have run it now. No problems here either. Running Windows 8.1.

Yeah, my client crashes on starting up.

Had to try when I saw this topic. But no crashes. Win7x64
