Armor question for 55 monk

I just had a quick question about a 55 life solo monk. Does it matter what Ascetic's Armor I get? Is it really necessary to get the 60AL Drok's Armor or the 30AL from Lion's Arch good enough? I would think Lion's Arch armor is fine because you don't really need the extra AL, just the energy bonus. Let me know. Thanks in advanced!

Damage won't change, get the cheaper one, you take min dmg as it is. Get the cheap armor, since AL doesn't affect a 55 monk.

yes, the min dmg is 5. protective spirit is your armor ;D
