New update, I heard there were 2 new NPCs in Kama, and I'm getting Wayfarer's Mark drops (purple) that say they can be traded in

A whole bunch of new NPCs: Danee Roarbear, Tylor Pierce, Anderus Patric

New items from quests: Get quest from Festival Coordinator Khuri in Kamadan, get a Proof of Winds?

Festival Updates
The spirit of adventure is always moving us forward, but it can be difficult to reflect on the journey while you’re in motion. Recent scholarship has unearthed a festival, once observed by our forebearers, that addresses just this notion. The Wayfarer’s Reverie honors the traveler inside each of us, encouraging revelry and revisitation. The world is yours to explore—again or for the first time. Join the celebration!
For those looking to walk the Wayfarer’s path, festival coordinators have been added to Lion’s Arch, Kamadan, Kaineng Center, and the Eye of the North to offer festival quests for their respective regions.
NPCs will be dropping by the major towns—as well as a few locations off in the wilds—to share their insights during the festival.
Special drops and bonuses will be in effect throughout the Wayfarer’s Reverie, which will run through August 30th.

Yeah, there's a new quest too. And a collector for the Wayfarer's Marks in Kamadan, as well as miscellaneous new NPCs. It seems to be a "last hurrah, walk down memory lane" type deal.

EDIT: Or maybe the precursor to the Elonian Winds of Change update? Since the NPCs keep talking about the future, and one even directly mentions "winds of change".

and just when i was going to back up my bags and retire..i'm back again I have no idea what this content is ut i recon i'll be hooked again. Weird to think its almost october again which i imagine will have (hopefully) more content for halloween and the Joko story. NF was released during halloween time so it would be pretty good to start the new beyond content then.

Confused the heck out of me when a wayfarer mark drop while I was doing some runs as Kieran in HotN. Anyone know what you can turn em in for?

Consumables, mainly 1 point ones

The Sworn to Winds broad in Embark Beach seems to be the end all of it.

Theres a new quest in Kama, LA, KC, and EotN all next to the festival collectors. Each quest rewards the same amount of XP as when the related game was released (LA=2005, KC and Kama=2006, and EotN=2007) and 2012 gold as well as a Proof of Flames, Winds, Mountains, or Waves depending on which city quest your doing. Each quest seems to be a "Visit these Locations" quest and I have no idea what the Proofs are used for.

Seeing a friend as an npc just made my day.

I thought they would do something for the 'transition'....since there has been too many people complaining about not finishing titles before the end of the month----

just glad they do care enough to give us some new content...

After getting all the proofs, you have to show them to Fylinn, Sworn to Winds. Will update when I do so

doing proph ones on HM atm, only on my main.... but i rather wait til 20th, so i can get the wanted in kessex, then have 3 wanteds and that quest there

i may try the others on HM too, just for my main after that

They have the same weird icon of those special items people were creating a few months ago

I noticed that too, very strange. Maybe theyve been implemented from times they thought GW2 was ready, but it ended up not happening xD

I got a tormented shield, which was customised. So lame.

Already customised? Is this a way for "normal" people to get tormented weapons for HoM?

It came customised, yes. Also none of the items are tradable, like the quest stuff.

btw whats that bear icon in your bag?

One is a tattered bear, one is a bobo. both from quests Bobo is nightfall, Tattered bear is factions.

Run around the scenery these last few days - get few points in HoM...

Think I get the picture of what ANet wanted to make End-fest like... and tbh I like that idea.
