Question about weapons

I need to pick up a longbow (only for pulling) for my warrior. I seen a longbow that says it requires some skill at rank 9, but I was able to use it even without the skill. Is that a bug, or is the requirement only for getting the stats from the weapon?

you can use any weapon on any class--you will not do the max damage the weapon can unless you meet the requirement for that weapon, similarly if you pick up a shield and dont meet the requirement you can still use the shield--you will not get max benefit from it though. (same goes for foci, staves, etc).

The requirement is only for getting the full benefit of the stat directly to the left of it.

All other stats that don't have a requirement next to it, you will get the full benefit of it.

So for pulling, this will be no problem. Thanks

If you're only pulling with it, stats don't matter really. (exception being if it's during some speedclears)

I use a Candy Cane Bow for pulling.

I would recommend a Flatbow though
The arc is bigger so you can shoot over rocks and stuff, a longbow gets obstructed a lot faster.
