Survivor or Situational Armor Insignias?

Just asking which would be best for both pve and pvp

Chthon's post pretty much covers the relevant points, and as you can see from the thread, there isn't really a simple answer.

PS: Saying 'situational armor insignia' is a bit redundant because each profession has at least one +10AL insignia for which the requirement is met 100% of the time.
