How would a semi-new player get the most out of the 7th bday event?

I'm sitting at 20/50 with the goal of 30 HoM pts...I've got 8 days to make the most out of the double rep/drops etc. The problem is I don't really know how to take advantage. Should I just grind JQ and get zkeys? Just looking for some opinions and advice from the vets. Thanks all...if you'd like to check my HoM I am at Karano Kyoukai.

flik you can make a sin and get it ready to vat farm in just a couple hours.

tbh for vaets mesmer is quicker, you can start in NF and not have to finish all of noob island cantha, i find mes easier for the run anyway

Ok so I have been farming the Vaettirs with an R/A build I found on this site and got up to about 100 birthday cupcakes but...I don't know if its better money than farming JQ and throwing the imp rep at balth to get zkeys and selling them. Whate makes Vaettir farming more profitable?

Really its about how much you play.
Cupcakes are 300/ea atm, ish.
If you farm ALOT, then Vaettir is the best.
If you run decent builds in JQ/FA& know when to switch sides and such, i suggest you do that instead.

Well I JQ'd for the last 2 days on luxon side because my ally told me that bots mostly play on kurz so its easy to win on luxon and I am pretty sure my win loss ration on luxon JQ has been like 6:1.

Personally, I would:

Vanquish Kurzick areas (progress towards Vanquisher title) and use the faction to get ally of the kurzicks (r4). Wiki #'s show 178k total faction earned with the festival double VQ rewards. With shrine bounties and if you did all of the kurzick vq and bought amber you should be able to get r4 no problem. You'll also have a bunch of amber if you decide that you want to get elite kurz armor.

AFK 9 rings while sleeping/working/going to school. About 3 days @ 8 hours should get you close to being able to display the lucky title. Stand on a corner ring to get the most unlucky points (all are the same for lucky). If you're close to r2 unlucky, play 9 rings a little more so you can display that statue too.

After that, probably JQ for the keys to start working on zaishen title. that statue is worth 3 points so should be a priority over sweet/booze/party.
Unless you're a total hard-core farmer you won't get 10k sweet/booze/party points from vaettir drops. And you'll get bored fast, at least I do.

well.... the 9 rings thing would be great if i were rich. im not...haha.
