Code = 058 :(

Hey, I've been getting Code 058 upon trying to log in for 2 days now. What causes this, and how can I resolve it?

058 indicates a network issue preventing the client from communicating to ArenaNet's servers.

If you have any AV/Firewall software installed try adding GW's to the exception list. If you're running Windows 7 or Vista try running GW's as administrator.

It just happened here too while In VsF, random dc from Guild Wars server

Same here, doing Eternal Grove. Now all it does it show connecting and then give me cole 58...i was doing soo good in Eternal grove with just hero/hench!!!

Well hope you are done 2/3 wins atm cant get back, and with no staff working on gw1 now, having been moved to gw2 how long till some1 notices?

Or do we go onto fb or twits to let them know?

Same problem. Well at least I know it's not client side now.

Having a Mini-heart attack Thinking my account was hacked again until i realised its because we can't log into the servers...Gotta Love it.

EDIT: 10minutes after this Post-Servers are Back up.

Misery loves company. Thanks for sharing yours everyone. I feel better now, because I'm not alone.

Its at times like this it would be really nice to be able to play offline and have any accomplishments uploaded upon reconnection.
