I'd like some recommendations for slots 6, 7, and 8 on my elementalist hero.
I'm not looking for something that requires skills on another hero. I want a self-contained hero.
What I have so far is Fireball, Liquid Flame, Rodgort's Invocation, Elemental Attunement, Aura of Restoration.
Energy doesn't seem to be too much of a problem, he can usually end a fight with half energy and regen on the way to the next fight.
Spell casting time seems a little slow because of recharges, so I'm curious to know if there's a suitable 4th spell to toss in there for the couple of seconds everything is recharging. Flare seems a bit under powered, primarily because it can miss, and I don't want him flare spamming and ignoring the other skills.
For slot 6 I'm currently using Leech Signet.
For slot 7 I'm currently using Power Drain.
..and for slot 8 I have nothing currently.
I like Leech Signet a lot. I only have Power Drain in there because it's useful, but I'm okay with getting rid of it.
Another requirement is that I need to be able to switch secondary to Ranger to bring Winter. So if we kept Leech Signet and pulled in two more elementalist skills, that'd be just fine.
Do you think Glowing Gaze would be a good fit? Do some filler damage, gain some energy. Would the hero be intelligent about using it only after casting Rodgort's?
Finally, please don't try to re-write the skillbar. It may not be efficient, it may not be the best, but I like it. I'm mostly wanting to get ideas about what may be out there in the dervish/ritualist/paragon world that might fill those final slots. Those are my weakest professions with regards to knowledge.
