So for me who already obtained max wisdom, would i need to find another 10,000 golds just to salvage?
/neversigned
though i would love an r7 koabd, since :
5 Titles: kind of a big deal
10 titles: People know me
15: Im very important
20: leatherbound books..
25: My guildhall smells of...
30: Gwamm!
Now theres a bunch of titles that still can be maxxed quite "easely" to get 35.

In a weird way thats been done but only on rune garbs - you unlock for PvP via PvE chr who has id`d the item.
Salvage idea id say nah - its bad enough trying to max wisdom title but having to salvage every item would tend to become a crap job - trying to get things just to id , picking up every damn drop regardless of vale.
Dont forget that wisdom assists the improvement onexpert salv kits and cuts down on losing the item after salv.

as stated above... people that already have wisdom generally have already salvaged enough items with no credit and don't want to do it all over again.
There is alot more better reasons for titles.
For completing non-daily secondary quests.
Titles related to guild wars beyond completions.
Total Experience Points (or skill points) earned.
And yes for the love of Balthazar add more tiers to the max title track, experienced ppl are running out of crap to do.... cap it at 40 and add 3-4 more titles.... add nothing to gw2 for these tiers so ppl wont QQ about not having them....

A title for salvahing would be like a title for identifying anything.
Now, a title for getting rare materials like Ruby could be nice.
But that would be actually better used as a way to add extra points to the Lucky title.
- Get a rare non-craftable material(things like ruby, eyes or amber, but no like steel or leather) from salvaging an item dropped by enemies (not crafter, collector nor quest reward): +250 lucky
- Get an weapon or armor break when salvaging upgrades: +10 unlucky.
There's one and ONLY one tittle missing: The Adventurer title from completing non-exclusive quests (those that any character from any campaign can make at any time as opposed to campaign exclusive, festival and exclusive quests like the Day of Tengu ones).

Also, what ideas do you all have for title names past GWAMM?
d
Well, some people like the titles, I'm out of the game because I haven't nothing new to do...
I have LDOA with a perma-pre charr, and I got it with the great Death Leveling mode... and R6 of HA is enough for me.
Atm with my main charr, I only can try to get the legendary survivor, but I dont want to play again only for this title..
BTW, I don't like the idea of the thread, but I am in favor of bringing new titles or rewards.
Breaking news: ALT+F4 + heading toward this site might help when you run out of things to do in GW and really want to play a game.

I've always thought a Legendary Beastmaster title might be fun, for collecting all the pets, getting them to level 20 and depositing them in the menagerie - even non-rangers can do this quite easily, and getting the rarer animals can be an entertaining safari-type quest earlier on in the game.
Love the idea for the Adventurer title too, and possibly something for the GW Beyond series. It would give an extra goal for those of us at endgame now, and is completely optional for those who prefer not to, or are not keen on titles.

Create a new title track that doesn't count towards HoM or towards GWAMM. Call it KoaBW (Kind of a Big Woop!). Make it for all sorts of small time accomplishments that are not accomplishments at all.
That way it can be just like WoW where you get accomplishments for being set on fire and other epicness
Hopefully if you've read this far you have picked up on my sarcasm. Titles should be reserved for actual accomplishments and effort, not common game mechanics.

If they wanted to add a new title : add title based on collected balthazars faction.

It would be fun to have some titles on pets owned (using the menagerie for example) or quests done (like 90~95% of the non primary and non repeatable quests of each campaing).
An increase on the gwam title tier could be fun, but it shouldn't have any effect on hom/gw2. Make it purely cosmetic so it wouldn't bother anyone that can't/won't go for it.

If you really want to add another tier to the GWAMM title, you have ONLY one choice for the name. And that's the Anchorman movie, because all the other tiers are based on Ron Burgundy quotes.
The "God Walking..." would be moved to the last tier, because nothing can be more than that.
Any extra tiers would be added before that, either after the existing other 5, or around the existing other 5.
Here's a Google search with sites that have quotes from the movie and by the character:
https://www.google.com/search?name=f...urgundy+quotes
One I'd love to see is:
"I'm not a baby, I am a man. I am an anchorman".
Added as:
"I'm not a noob, I am a hero. I am an <Profession name>"
For the first tier.
