Pink Dye during Pre-searing?

About 10min ago i have done the daily Vanguard quest in the pre-searing.
And when i take the reward a Pink Dye pop in my charr bag.

My question is: is it normal? is it a bug?

As of the September 30th update, pink dye can drop from foes just like normal dye.

i can loot it during the quest but dont remember, probably i take it without look what it is^^

Hmm, with this update, are they tradeable now as well?

Pink Dyes obtained from Cancer awareness had their names changed to "Rosa"Pink Dye. Those dyes are not tradeable. However Pink dyes that are drop from Outside outposts are Tradeable. Just like the pre-searing pink dye he currently has.

That seems unfair, cause I bought a stockpile of 600, and now anyone can get them? They just turned something interesting and "rare"(haha..) Into something that anyone can obtain. It's a little bit upsetting, they should atleast change the shade of pink so the ones from cancer awareness are still unique.

/agrees i bought 2 stacks so i had some during the year but now its kinda pointless..so if they drop..why arent they at the dye trader?

yes, I definitely think that the old dye should be color changed to something special, not just renamed - if it's been renamed 'Rosa' dye, why not make it a salmon/rosy pink instead? I missed out on the BCA event last year and forked out 1k a pop to get my Norn kit dyed pink dye to the rarity, so I'm a wee bit peeved to find that 2 weeks later I could've done it for free if I'd just persistently farmed drops.

The dropped dyes are neither here nor there as far as that decision is concerned. If you paid 1k a piece as recently as 2 weeks ago, didn't you consider that chances were probably pretty good that at least Rosa would have been back, selling them for 100g a pop this month?

As this has been answered, and this is not the place to discuss how fair or unfair pink dyes dropping is..
