You'll Never Guess What Came Out Of That Monster!

This thread is to share the odd or confusing drops some monsters and/or enemies may drop.

I'm certain most of us can say the Fire Wand dropping from an Ice Imp is a common situation, or perhaps getting a White Dye from a Lv4 Skree Talon, but what kind of odd or out-of-place drops have you seen from any monster and/or enemy in Guild Wars?

Personally, I can say getting a Sapphire from the Warden of the Branch enemy.

When Prophecies was first out and on my first character questing out of Piken Square into the Diessa Lowlands, there were these stone elementals. Over to the right near the bridge a stone elemental dropped a Ruby.

Nobody knew what a Ruby was good for. There was limited offline info at that time, so presently just merched it. Have never seen any explorable area monster drop a Ruby since then.

Ruby from a level 0 mantid in sunqua vale, seriously

id gotten 2 sapphires from yeti's when i used to feather farm. xD

Any enemy in the game can drop a ruby/sapphire. It's a miniscule chance though.

I got a Sapphire from a Yeti while vq-ing Gyala Hatchery a week ago... and in the same week a friend of mine got a Ruby from a mob while i helped him getting to Thirsty River (i think it was a hydra but i am not 100% sure).

I also got a Saphire from an Am Fah, by the bridge in Pongmei Valley. This was a fair few months before Nightfall. I also got a 15^50 celestial bow (q11)from the lvl18 mantids outside Naphui which was kinda neat.
Black and white dye drops from low levels is always kinda funny too.

That's almost right. I think it's possible for any creature that drops crafting materials to drop sapphires/rubies.

So far no one has mentioned anything odd at all, rubies etc can drop from anything at all and I have had perhaps a half dozen over the last month alone (including sapphires) and beyond the normal IDS monsters such as ice imps can drop a rather wide range of odds and ends in terms of weapons.

I suppose it is "odd" to have a boss drop four items, and did once have the necro boss outside Altrum drop en elite tome, a gold, a gold scroll and some white weapon.

I like multiple green drops. Like two Kepkhet's Refuge from one kill and all 3 of Grognar's greens in one drop.

Farmed courier Crisis alot? (or just run to boss?)

Yeah, I farmed the quest in HM a lot for survivor XP.

I once saw a screenshot of someone getting all three greens, a lockpick, and an Elite Mesmer tome from the same boss. I don't think it gets more epic than that.

Terrorweb dryders in UW droping water wands.... ??????????

Several years ago I had a stone elemental in Pre-Searing drop a frost artifact with +8 or some armor against tengu. There aren't even tengu in Pre... O.o

I once had a charr (elementalist I think) drop a black pearl in Ruins of Surmia HM. As far as I know, no one else has ever had that happen. I guess I don't really have any proof because I didn't take a screenshot (only had Prophecies at that time so I didn't know where black pearls came from), but you'll just have to trust me. :P

Stone Summit Beastmaster dropped a Beastmaster Harness of Major Beast Mastery.

In one way it's quite logical.

Whenever I kill a mob and it doesn't drop anything, I never believe my eyes.

i had topaz crest drop from Glint.

Yeah, I have Glint's head as a trophy.
