What's the worst thing that happened to you in-game?

back when sorrows furnace just came out, i was playing Ranger as main. Draco's Flatbow seemed like the very best thing to ever happen to rangers at the time.
specifically for SF, i made a monk, played it to get the elites, armor, towns etc. I was broke so i didnt want to pay for runs, did it all manually.
Got the monk there, one of the 1st runs i did i got Draco droped his bow for me! that was beyond belief to me, since i could only dream to buy it at this point.
Few days later, lag on merchant and bow gone
I got it again after, but man that was painful, was my very 1st green (when they were rare and valuable), my 1st perfect weapon, my 1st valuable drop
Also accidently deleted a toon that for some reason had an unded mini kunvang..... but that didnt even compare to the disapointment of the Dracos bow

Didn't happen to me directly, but personally felt bad about it -- a while back (before zcoins were tradable) I sold a large Equipment Pack to an assassin for 50K... then just seconds after the transaction I get a whisper from him, "Damn!.... You're not going to believe this...I accidentally trashed the equipment pack you just sold me."
Apparently he was successful in placing the equipment pack neatly into the trash can icon thingy of his inventory.

I've been able to beat the City, Gloom and Veil parts of the Domain of Anguish (in NM) with a full hero team with actually little problem. However, with Foundry, I've managed to reach The Fury a total of five times and yet somehow manage to screw up after a good 45-50 minute slaughtering of every last creature in that place. Drag the black pushover of mad towards the middle of that main room, and when you kill him, you can take the quest far from the spawn of the fury. Set up spirits/hero positions, then drag the spawn to your heroes. After 10 tries the hard way, I did it first try like this =]

Getting stuck with the last 3 consumable titles until I'm done.
I played D2, RuneScape, and WoW (after taking a break from GW), and have been playing GW for 6 years. I never really had many problems with GW, since my previous experiences taught me to never listen to scams and always know prices before buying. So, I never had a horrible experience with GW or ArenaNet, which is good.
I think the worst thing I have done was blew a huge opportunity. I was in a Guild with all the best Hero Battle players, and I learned a lot. We did GvG, and kicked some rear side. Quickly grew in the ranks, and we were all assassins with 1 or 2 monks. It somehow worked. I learned a lot. Then the guild went inactive for about 1-2 weeks, and I thought it was on the verge of dying. I also became interested in PvE, so I left it and joined a new guild. You know when you join a new guild, think its cool, but they don't do ANYTHING they say they do when they advertise? Well, I went through about 50 of those, and one day when I was bored decided to hit "b" and watch some battles. There I saw the guild I was in as a top 100 ranked guild, and it use to be my dream to be there. But, after participating in some top 100 ranked guilds, you realize that no one watches those things anymore so it doesn't matter.
But for my original thing... I have this burden on me that I must get GWAMM before GW2, because I want it for GW2 and will not have the patience to log in to GW1 to get it when GW2 is already out. I want it on release. Problem is, I've done literally everything that I can do... except the 3 consumable titles. Money isn't much of an issue, but it's a HUGE demand, and a very low supply. I was waiting for Wintersday in July for ages...but the one weekend I went on vacation ArenaNet hosts it, so I missed out big time on that. There is literally nothing I can do without feeling unproductive in GW besides sit in towns spamming "WTB drunkard/sweet/party points", and I absolutely HATE trading/selling. ArenaNet please insert an auction house in this game when you've got it done with GW2!!!

Worst thing that happened to me in game is probably my own stupidity causing me to lose survivor :P
During Sweet Treats weekend, I decided to spend the weekend farming as many eggs and bunnies as I could for treasure hunting and sweets points. I figure that it would also be a good time to get survivor for my monk and so I may as well as do Kilroy boxing the whole weekend to do all three. I reasoned that since I was going for bunnies and eggs, I was going to be farming the whole weekend anyway, so I wasn't going to use scrolls and just brute force my way up to R3 survivor.
After hours of Kilroy and bunny and egg farming, I was halfway to R3...but I was getting pretty bored and turning into a zombie and wanted some kind of change. My guild leader said he was going to farm Gates of Kryta, and I thought: "Ooh! This would be a great break to kilroy and still farm bunnies and eggs!" I had never farmed GoK, even though I had heard it was a good farm so I asked if I could tag along to see what path he would take and how he'd use his build.
I was super excited about this since I had been wanting to learn this farm for a while now! When we met in GoK, we zoned in and I said "I'm going to go suicide so I can watch you from your viewpoint" and ran off into some mobs and promptly died. While my GL was farming and explaining what to do and where to go, I was totally excited at learning this new farm. As I literally was typing: "I wish these mobs were higher so I could use the XP for my survivor"... I realized what I had done...
and then just stared at the computer in disbelief...
before erasing the last message and typing: "OMG, I just killed my survivor!"
Anyway, I started survivor again from scratch and burned through scrolls to get R3... and then didn't touch the game for about 3 months after XD

made more than 50k (think i had about 70k, this was like 5 years ago) for the first time, figured i'd do some fow chest running. get to toa, have all my money on me buy 10 keys and the little counter didnt reset itself like i thought it would, so i just kept clicking buy, obviously i ran out of money, didnt even have to 100g to enter fow and use my keys =]
I died and a monster dropped a r11 near-max white flatbow just as the "your party was defeated" popup came up :-(
For real, the worst thing was probably the Dervish overhaul along with the Asuran Scan nerf. I lost the W/D build I had been using (and loving) for ages. Now I am a miserable W/A if I feel like dishing out hurt, and it's not even close to the same level of effectiveness.
