Izari has posted in the GW2guru thread on ArenaNet's FanDay that the invitees will be previewing Winds of Change today. (post #360)
This ArenaNet FanDay is an invite-only visit by media and some GW/GW2 fansite members to the new ArenaNet offices in Bellevue, Washington. The invitees include some guru members and a couple of Official Wiki members.

As requested:

From what I gather, today we'll be doing: a dungeon run (Catacombs), preview of Winds of Change, and some voice acting (which should be shenanigans). Underwater combat is available.

Need to confirm if we're allowed to copy screenshots; I've got my fingers crossed on that one.

So excite!

The Live Team presentation has begun, FINALLY!

Sounds ambitious.

I do have to say though, that the Ministry of Purity NPCs had some amazing armor designs (that I unfortunately do not have a picture of :/ ).

But the quests aren't just things like the bounty quests (go here and kill a boss, that's it.) They're all pretty fleshed out experiences, and a lot of them have an impact on the world (changing base spawns for zones after their completion, in some cases more than once.) There's also (non-mandatory) scenes hidden all over Cantha that come up after the completion of quests to help fill out the world, to make it feel more alive and reactive to the things you're doing. It's also something for the explorer types, without necessitating that you need to go to obscure locations to advance. I really want it to feel like we're putting out a significant piece of content, one that has its own story arc, and gets people really invested for the two parts to follow.

That's basically it for now, I wanted to make sure I'd expressed a proper appreciation to our fans. These are hectic times for me, in trying to coordinate the projects we're working on, supporting my team, and planning a wedding at the same time. I am thankful for every break and bit of sanity/fun that I can get. The big day is coming up on July 9th, and after that I'll be gone for two weeks - in someplace far, far sunnier than Washington. Over that honeymoon, I'll also be hitting my 6 year anniversary with ArenaNet - and I'm looking forward to many more. Maybe by then, we'll have fixed Shadowform! Didn't they say it would be out in June? That leaves next Thursday for it but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Most of what they're doing for GW2 Fanday is, gasp, GW2-related. Hence why most of the info is on GW2G.

I'm following both that thread and several of the people there on twitter, so I can post info over here, if people like.

Yes, thanks for the heads-up; would have likely missed it otherwise as I don't browse GW2 Guru often.

As soon as I start seeing the tweets about it roll in, then, I shall post it here ^^

http://twitter.com/#!/GuildWars2/gw2fanday This link contains all of the twitter accounts for people who are attending, so if you can't or usually don't follow GW2G, you can at least follow that (no need for a twitter account yourself).

I can't wait to see the WoC stuff, but if it is going to be incrementally implemented as WiK was, I am going to wait for the whole release before I play it. I want to play it all at once. I think it will feel more cohesive that way.

are we there yet?

ah well, thought they might not get around to doing something for the CURRENT game in favor of a game not yet on the market----
but we still have one more week of june left for them to get out 'some exciting stuff' (though they did do that strongbox thing--and the envoy weapons which were a bit exciting).
guess will be skill capping with my leg survivor candidate.

(and yeah I dont read the gw2 site--I find it confusing, and I dont tweet, blog or facebook either....so I EXPECT gw1 stuff to be announced on a gw1 fansite--I dont go to say aion guru to read about gw2!)

Alright more exclusivity and fan segregation, just like War in Kryta.

This is so cool.

They are also allegedly pretty challenging and will require communication and tactics from players (which is great news for everybody who's worried it's going to be "too casual").
GO RED ENGINE!

Seriously, the last thing I want is to GET FRUSTRATED OVER ANYTHING regarding missions, quests or anything, but that phrase "pretty challenging" immediately makes me step away.

Who in the GO RED ENGINEing hell worried about things being too casual! I want to enjoy Guild Wars, go at my own pace and appreciate everything, but from that quote up there, it only means WoC is going to be a hardcore player's fantasy land, forcing gimmick builds and gimmick groups to spread like Arizona wildfires.

Honestly, I've never been this displeased over anything till now.

With that said, I wholeheartedly hope I'm proven wrong and I'm not going to expect WoC to be "Ghost & Goblins" difficult.

The wording confused me a little at first as well. But yes, it looks like the only news on WOC is that it will be previewed soon - everything else is GW2 related.

I've tried to lessen the confusion by explaining who Izari is in relation to GW (1 or 2) and shortening the quote to include just the sentence involving WoC.

Heh, thanks Darcy. I literally read the first post in saying that 32 dungeons, underwater combat, and increased difficulty would all be part of the WoC content.

That gave me a big "HUH!?" reaction.
