Hello,
It's been a while since I played GW. 5 years or so.
And I remember there was a letter you can use in the properties to download all the maps and patches together.
Instead of running the game, and go to each area one by one.

I think it was putted after the target: "X:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars\Gw.exe"

"X:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -image
remember to add a space and then remove the -image after its done!

And, note that -image is, properly, outside the quotes (" ").

I had no idea you could do anything like this, this would be so useful as I am going to be upgrading computers soon and it would be great not to have to load everything. Where exactly am I putting that? Properties like in my computer or in some document in guild wars itself?

Thanks you guys!

Edit the properties of the Guild Wars shortcut. Read more here:

You put that in the Target line of your GW desktop shortcut. If you don't have a GW desktop shortcut - or you only have the link in the Vista/7 Games folder - you can create a desktop shortcut by going to where your Guild Warts folder is - usually C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86) - and locating gw.exe (the .exe may be hidden depending upon your folder options).
Right-click on gw.exe and choose Send To, then Desktop (Create Shortcut).
