getting a 227 code (login error) after game crash

I just got the complete set yesterday. I remove my first character cause i messed up on some parts and delete it. As I was moving around with my second one the game crashed (I noticed my lag meter gone weird during that time). I logged back on and winding up having this login error Code #227

I reset my password typing it correct but no luck.. Is anyone having this problem?

I have the same problem (error 227, and i can't login, but the game don't crash)... I asked for assistance on NCsoft site.

same happened to me last week around the time of the update......

took about a week to get it back, and have in that time somehow lost my obby armor, ectos, cash and rares......


take a serious look at whether you have all your items when you get your account back

I have lost all my item, but they say i can't receive back, i lost my armor obsidian and all item....
Now i can only wait GW2, what is the sense to continue to play?

Arenanet should be include a system to protect their users i think.
I never say to other guy or on the internet my information.

The best thing is that they have hacked a person who was in the hospital, and did not play more than 3-4 months.
My father and my mother did not play Guild Wars. Also do not use my pc.

ilmassacratore and payne - Good God that's crazy! I emailed the support since last night and got a reply looking for a screenshots of my characters..?! wth! I gave them my information. Thank god i didn't go far or I would of been screwed there there! I feel your pain having your items lost.. that stinks! I am so glad I'm not the only one but geez!!

it's a really good thing I'm a very casual player now rather than a hardcore player like a few years back, I'd've cried back then.
Now it's just a nuisance, and I'll have to start from scratch - would've been properly pissed if they'd deleted my Ranger with all his titles etc.

Payne - Your a lot like me. I'm not really hardcore gamer but just being myself is fine. Oh god I hope they didn't do that... I don't blame you now. I have a feeling I am going to lost my bonus items that was included with the set. I am thinking that's what got my account weird and wouldn't let me back on. Right now I'm still emailing NCsoft like crazy arrgh!

I was in the hospital, i don't know what update you say, but it's impossible, i never say to other guy my information.
I have stopped to play the game because i have completed all part of the game first than go to the hospital.
But in the inventory of my warrior i have found some iron... and my obsidian was destroyed.

The situation actually is not solved for my 2 account....
I hope who have taked my account will die, it's a bastard, it's the only solution for save the normal people from the animal.

I can say: take the item and money, but don't destroy all my armor...
Now i will see forever my armor in the hall of monument ....
And i'm still waiting for take back my 2 full account, because i can access partial on the first.

I think there is a problem on ncsoft security, in this day some hacker are attacking different site. And if Ncsoft don't know this? If there are some hacker selling the item of Ncsoft customers?

If they have attacked: bioware, Bethesda, eve online, and CIA, this is possible.

I think this time there is a big problem, and we are victim of some security problem.

I don't know if in the contract is write this: if your account will be hacked, and your personal aggressive information will be stolen, you need to wait 5 month without help.

There is more to understand if they had access to the account first, and waited some good time (absence) in order to steal everything.
They attack people less active, at least I understand.
And if there was someone inside the company, which makes this operation?

Instill you find yourself always with the changed data(passw,questions, etc..).
Of course, the assumptions are many, but I hope they solves everything.
Today my 2 ncsoft account (and in the game i can play only 1 game of this 2, becouse they maked a partial reset of passw.) are in the hands of hackers.

This is JUST great! >.< Is there another way I can make another account with the same key access?

problem is, my second account, which I used when you could harvest z-keys, I have no characters on that account now - and because you need a char name to log in, I can no longer access that account / ask NC Soft for a password change as they ask for a character name



properly screwed up though, just relieved my ranger survived even if his obby armor is gone

Today they solved the problem.
Now i have 0 item, but i have my account back.


They have destroyed my obsidian (hacker) for make 1 ecto :/, i think who made this is a bastard ....
But ok, so I was interested to get back my stuff.

have you tried an old character name from that account?
or have you tried giving the old character name to support?
(just throwing out ideas)
