So it's not Vista vs. Win7 that's the problem.

And it's not 32 bit vs 64 bit.

What else in common?

Getting the maintenance message doesn't feel like a hardware error, but I'm running ATI HD 6850, i7-2600, 8gb (no overclocking whatsoever).

This is most likely due to regions players are in and not the OS. I think you all should state which area of the USA your in or the country if not in the US. might give us some perspective of what the problem is.

Definitely not. BF and I are in same room, same network. (If didn't read previous message, his computer can log in both our accounts; my computer cannot log in either account).

Friend and I both live in the same town, both have win7 x64 and I'm unable to login whilst he can.

Well the last thing that comes to mind is pathing/IP issues with modems but you two are probaly on the same modem. no?

I'm able to log in no problem, but all of a sudden my TexMod (Cartographer Made Easy) isn't interfacing with the game correctly... I only get the standard GW maps.

This has happened to me before but a restart of GWs always fixed it.

using Win7 x64.. managed to log in no problem at all.
