Maintenance - June 9th, 2011

My BF and I both play GW. His computer, on Vista 32, can log into both his account, and mine, which we checked after a while.
My computer, on Win 7 64, cannot log into either account (it gives me the maintenance message).
We both have the same settings and nothing unusual for GW.
Is it possible the small patch for maintenance messed something up for Win 7?
Can I erase the patch and force it to redownload it? (I don't think -image does that does it?)

Im really annoyed by this. Lost my VQ of Joko's Domain. This proves how shitty anet is to its customers. Things like this make me wish blizzard owned GW.

Blizzard call center? Literally, just that, and the phone was constantly busy. "Call back later" "Call back later", this went on for a week. When I finally got through to them, it was a guy who honestly sounded like he wanted to come through the phone and strangle anyone he wished to talk to, but was struggling to be polite.
He promised to check into my matter, read my tickets, etc..and then a week goes by, another week..nothing. The matter was never effectively resolved by Blizzard yet they had no issues whatsoever about continuing to take my money and charge me for game play that I couldn't actually participate in throughout all of it.
In the end, nothing was done and the most I ever got from Blizzard was, "We're looking into it, but cannot talk to you about it, so..don't bother us", basic reply and to me, that's horrible customer service...
New pets released for free? Before the Blizzard store, yes. After the Blizzard store, less likely. You pay 10-15 euro for them now. Blizzard used to give out pets to each character you logged in on during their anniversary, last year they gave everyone a spam mail into the in-game mailbox that told us, "We released two new pets this year! Buy them each in the Blizzard store!"
Servers are down every Tuesday, and rarely do they do rolling restarts so that they're up for Tuesdays. Wow also has several micro-emergencies, entire hubs of servers down for hours without a reason. Sometimes, after a patch, the game functions poorly for a week or so, including multiple extensive downtimes.

Not trying to sound like a superfan here, but having played both guild wars and wow extensively and dealing with customer service on both counts, I can honestly say that Arena Net was a far better experience than Blizzard.

Every Tuesday the servers did go down but the 3 servers I played on were always back up at 11 am. There were 2 or 3 problems with patches but they were ironed out within 2 or 3 days and I didn't mind waiting with the little bit of lag, it didn't stop me from raiding.
