Honestly, it caught me off by surprise too. I didn't hear about any maintenance for the actual game itself. Just wiki.

I was running over to pick up my max req.6 gold inscribable crystalline that dropped from a mantid outside of the Monastery when the servers shut down.

Something on the login screen would have been nice :/

Was just about to screen shot my solo DoA time only took 1 hour thats 100k of pcons wasted for no SCREEN SHOT.

yes a weeee bit of a heads-up would have been nice. (I checked on the official site which is linked to that code and it said nothing current---good thing they update that regularly).

nopes im too. and lols at the name change just cause you changed it who ever you are doesnt mean it didnt happen. they didnt tell us and just did it out of the blue..come on anet. >> its stuff like this that makes people mad at you.

I always figure any maintenance takes an hour, so according to my sundial, we got another 20 minutes.

i really wanted to play some but now i guess ill go to sleep

A bit of notice would be nice, say a few days before as you log in.
