Currently There are 7 Professions with 3 Heros. On the Other Hand there are only 2 heros for the professions Assassin, Ritualist, and Mesmer. Thus adding 3 new heroes(sin, rit and mes) would equalize all 10 professions with 3 heroes each.

I miss read the question and voted no. I meant yes. With Merc Heroes out, everyone should get the opportunity to get as many profession of heroes as they want through gameplay. Up to 7 at least.

Suun would be first on my list for Rt. I dont care what profession they are but I always liked the skin for Jei Zohn and Guwon the Wise. And I always wanted a Blimm hero so he could quote office space while I'm on VQ. Although any generic Hero skin will do, I always wanted a melee Asura Hero.

Isn't 7 heroes enough of an update?
I think we are just getting a little too much like prima donna's.
Next thing will be we wont want to fight Abbadon in case we break a nail.

I voted yes, mostly because I think we'll be getting more heroes with future content patches (Winds of Cantha...I just hope we don't get a 'sin).

I will not answer the poll without a solid answer to this question....

Where is the option to add more heroes so you can make any team with any number of professions? Which would be the most logical choice following the Merc update. Don't see any objection to that other than Merc payer entitlement.

It would be nice and I expect a new assassin hero with the new update Winds of Change, but WHY more?
They have already made 7 hero limit and opportunity to buy extra heroes. Adding new heroes would mean less money for Anet.

No, thats why you have mercs! And this game isent going survive off cheapos that dont want to buy a 3 merc package. This isent a charity, it's buisness. So stop whining so much that you cant get that third or fourth mesmer you want

As far as im concerned the feature you are requesting is allready implented in to the game. Youre simply not willing to pay for it, so dont take development off new features in the game that I would like to see.

They're also fitting as pseudo-mercs, so what better choice in the age of mercs.

personally it wouldn't matter much to me. there are already quite a few heroes that never seem to be used anyway, adding more to the list won't really change much.

do people seriously need 3 rit heroes? and without fixing the AI, the sin heroes already are just for show, another sin hero would just be adding even more dust to the collection. a 3rd mes i personally dont see much of a use for considering 2 are way more than enough

I voted neutral. I never roll anything other than triple necros, two rits, and two warriors. In the interests of fairness, yes, they should add new ones - however I don't need them.

I think it's pretty obvious they're going to add those heroes anyway. We'll get a sin in Winds of Change, I'm presuming - perhaps incorrectly - that there will GWB for Nightfall, and we'll a rit or mesmer in that, and, and this is a huge step, there could be huge tie up GWB quest - for which we'll get either the rit or mesmer we didn't get in Nightfall.

Is that fair to say?

Doubt we'll get a Rit hero from NF, it's possible though.

and not to be better, or to be able to use more without buying merc heroes (cuz you can get 7 necro's that way if you want), but :
1. it makes sense, having 3 of all profs
2. more different heroes means trying to make more builds which work good
3. i'd like to see more characters becoming heroes through their own stories

3 good points and not 1 bad one, as merc heroes wont be hurt much, as people who dont wanna buy, wont buy , and people who want more than 3 of that prof, they will buy merc instead of using just the 3 we'd have then
so, people who wanna have more, will buy more

for me, i dont need merc heroes, but seeing 1 more sin (ok except that one), mesmer and rit hero, would make the game more interesting, as i love making builds to have my own team

more than 3 is kinda useless i think, as it will then hurt their business from merc heroes (even though its not my problem) and 3 of each makes the game more interesting, as those who will never buy merc (like myself) can get a bit variation (not prof wise, but build wise)

and i've never been a fan of merc heroes at all, since i will never use more than 3 of the same prof, and am not planning on buying a slot just for that
and i quit discord or any other team builds from pvx, just to make my own team, and having more stories and more different looks would make the game better, just cuz it has something new and useful

i hope they wont make it so that we gotta do solo missions like hearts of the north, as i'm very bad at that, so i never get keiran (which i dont like anyway, and i never use more than 1 paragon hero)
but making quests which you can do with heroes, and making them require a certain hero would be more fun, imo

If they do add more heroes hopefully it fits in nice to the storyline maybe w/ WoC. It would be a nice addition to those people who don't own both EotN and NF. But i can see people who bought mercenaries feel like they were duped. Honestly, I personally don't see the need for more heroes.
