why not try to see if you could even manage the coding necessary in order for you to accomplish this, and while you are at it, think about the fact that GW1 is just being maintained just enough to keep you wanting to play GW2, thus the smaller team dedicated to it

so in effect you are saying:
'maybe YOU should go learn how to build rockets so we can go to the moon and YOU should learn how to terraform planets so we can live on them... i know its complex for a laman, so stop your life, stop your specialties you have been studying for X amount of years and instead change the whole focus of your life to encompass something you may never actually achieve (while keeping in mind that others already have the skills required and you could simply ask them for changes or whatnot)'
i would have to say imho thats a pretty asinine response to the OP. telling him to learn C++ and work for anet simply to achieve his desire for specific additions to the game is not realistic.
we are aware the dev team is smaller, we are aware that some requests may be something a bit complex to be realistic or a specific implementation may be unrealistic, thats the point of this section of the forums, make a suggestion, a series of suggestions even, that anet will look at and go 'hmm, not a bad idea, i wonder how we could easily implement that'. just because YOU dont know how to do something doesnt mean it cant be done by somebody else that does actually work on it.

okay so let me rephrase what you are saying you agree with anet saying:
'we know you want to buy our product, a game, to have fun, as the intended purpose of a game. cool, we appreciate that. one thing we would like to mention, you are only going to be allowed to have fun in the very specific manner in which we decide you can have fun, if you would like to have fun in a modified manner to that or in a completely different manner, then thats just too bad. you can feel free to be pissed off and have less money now that you already bought our game (we dont care you dont pay monthly anyways, we already got our money now) and simply go elsewhere. we would also like to mention, if you like our stance on how we handle our products and the way we speak to you, then please be sure to purchase our newest product (release date to be announced along with Duke Nukem Forever and Eve station walking) Guild Wars 2, where we plan to jerk you around yet again after you have given us even more money. thanks for your continued support.'

i like the idea of teams, i thought about the 7 flags as well, and it seems a bit cluttered and could become confusing. the heroes dont have a 'ready' button anyways, so it would just be a matter of adding something new to that portion of the bar in the party box rather than removing/modifying something already existing. plus they can use a portion of the underlying code without changing it greatly so makes for faster dev time. another example of an area where multi teams would help is the priest quest for sorrow's furnace, you need a couple people to stay with the priest while the others go out and get the tablet things. also, the fa quest in sorrow's furnace, to kill the rage binders you either have to have high dps team or split team.
