Drunkard Title and How it Works?

I knew Before that you Would have to Consume a Level 5 and every so Often use a Level 1 every Minute or So in Order to get the Minutes up on Drunkard.

However i don't Really Quiet understand How the New drunk title works Unless i am thinking what i think it is.

So Say if i had a Flask of Firewater and Consumed it Does it Mean 3points would go Straight to Drunkard and i can Spam Alcohol or do you still have to Slowly add level 1 alcohol every Minute?

3 pts straight to the title, you can spam like sugar and party points now.

All the level 5 drinks now act as a 3 point spam etc.
consume 10 firewaters and you get instantly 30 points ( 3x10 ) - what id like to know is what is the time scale now for the consumed alcho effects.
Anets said - its changed and you get points for use , but they have forgotten to say how it now effects us and especially with skills.
Candy tell us xxxx for xxx mins when consumed , could they not say its same as before and 1 point gets you 1 lvl of intox for x mins.
It may sound a daft request but a few pve skills do require you to be intoxicated and we all know anet does have a habbit of overlooking things that are a side effect of any changes ( buh after its nerf for example lol ).
* wonder if they would do an icon timer similar to normal consumables

I would assume, for skill use, that alcohol still behaves the same as always. It's just added to one's title track differently.

I would certainly hope so. It was all I wanted before the update, and all I want now.

The only thing that has changed is how points are applied to the title. They didn't add levels to how drunk a character is, nor did they change how fast the effect wears off: Drink one flask of firewater - reach level 5 drunkeness. Drink 50 flasks of firewater - reach level 5 drunkeness and no higher.

I set to on the day it changed drinking the kegs you get in zaishen took around 4 minutes to get 1000 towards the title.
After a while I ran out of 3 and 5 point alcohol so slowed right down with the single point alcohol.

Should get ale hound in under an hour given you have enough high point alcohols available.
Sadly I exhausted kegs eggnog and haloween brews just after 5000 points, roll on the next festival.

Quite comical really seeing xxxx has achieved incorrigable ale hound being announced every few seconds.

I was glad to be able to use the 6700 points i was hording, cause i wasn't able to sell it before this.

The points you gain from alcohol consumption are now frontloaded. You will get full points from consuming alcohol, no matter what level of drunkenness you are at, but I believe that the drunk state still only lasts a maximum of five minutes.
