Rune Trader Blow Out

I would put money on somebody writing up this same topic as I type.

7 hero party has made finding the right rune nigh-impossible, at least at the Rune Trader. Minor mes/monk runes are already all gone as are non-profession attached runes/insignia for health besides sup which is up to 25p.

was quite surprised this morning that certain necro runes were still in stock and at usual price.. though that may have changed by now (have not checked since i geared mine)

I must admit though, i kinda saw this coming, since a similar thing happened when heroes were first introduced.

I bet anyone who cared enough to stockpile is making a killing.

People already have their Necros runed .

Don't worry, it'll suck for a while and then return to normal. In the meantime, farm runes and sell 'em for ridiculous prices.

ive always used the runes i get by killing mobs to upgrade my heroes so im surprised that all of a sudden theres a rune rush ... then again ive always played around with my team builds not relying on any one profession....

Time to go do some factions stuff and sell off a bunch of runes I think Halycon job and Factions vanqs always seem to net me a bunch of runes...

Exactly! I anticipated the update and stocked up on a crapload of Necro runes not realizing that it was things like Mesmer stuff that I would really need.

Generally Monk runes tend to go quite quickly too, of course since (almost) every hero needs the basic radiant/survivor insignias, these go even faster.
Fortunately for me, I had a ton of old monk runes on dusty 55 and 600 armors.

Lol I will be selling runes for as long as this lasts. My heroes were geared up well before the update.

Yeah, my timing was all wrong. I bought a crapload of Mesmer runes before the Mesmer buff, and to my surprise, nothing ever really came of it.

Everyone knew the update was coming, smart people stocked up.
I bought 50 major vigors and sold them for double the price.

all my heroes were already fully geared since i like to cycle through them anyways

I had my 7 hero parties runed way before this update happened, when they announced them.

All my heroes are already runed. Just my mercenaries arent, but I can salvage off my heroes and use the mercenaries instead if I want to.

Yeah baby. I had a few vigor runes in the stash, sold em.. walked away bathing in some newfound plat.

I bought a load of minor runes yesterday and equipped all the heroes on my main character but didn't consider Major Vigor silly really, still they drop often enough.

Only had 1 Sup Vigor drop in nearly 5 years of play though.

That's why I tricked all my heroes out right when they announced 7 hero parties would be coming.

I kept some Necro Death Magic runes and I also had 3x Sup Vigors (all which I got last year). Glad I didn't sell them off. And should have bought more Sup Vigors when they were at a 15k low a few days ago. But I never was good at predicting the economy. :/
