Update hurt my finger - &, Alc Price?

Alright,

1. Who else has a sore finger from guzzling down all that alcohol you've been hoarding after the update to Drunkard title?

2. I'm bad at market logic. Will this increase or decrease the price of alcohol?

Edit: If increase, do you think 3 pt drinks will increase more than 1pt? Wondering if people would pay more for the reduced wear and tear on tendons.

I just finished Drunkard last week.

Ah well. It was a pain in the ass (and even more of a pain trying to explain to a clueless guildie how they needed to drink to keep their buzz up).

it will increase the overall price, but i seriously doubt 3pts will be sold for more than 1 points.

At least you can get Dwarven Ale for 200g at merchants.

I feel your pain. Only about 100 miniutes left when this update came out. I was planning on finishing it this weekend (which I guess is technically still true). But all the feeling of triumph I was going to have is now gone.

I love this update! to hell with sitting around drunk counting minutes! woo!

Yet some people sell alcohol for more than 200g/point, and some even bigger retards actually buy it..

This is nuts... I was standing around in LA earlier, and every 2-3 seconds someone was getting ale hound and extending the favor of the gods.

Of course, wouldn't you know it, I got mine during Wintersday. Oh well, just another thing to add to the list of "Stuff I did in Guild Wars when it was hard/expensive/time consuming."

Maxing the title costs 2mil if done with merchant (The merchant in Droks sells them)

Dwarven Ale = 200g x 10,000 = 2,000,000g

So don't buy points for over 200, the merch will for once give you the better price.

I think I'm probably one of like 3 people who didn't really like the drunkard change (if there are even that many). Since I've gotten into the habit of working on the title and automatically monitoring the points while vanquishing, it kind of feels like I'm cheating now when I use the alcohol and the points just appear without any other process.

I dunno. It just feels... wrong.

I guess I'm one of the few people out there who cares more about enjoying the process of obtaining the achievement than the final obtainment of the achievement itself.

I feel that for me the title has been cheapened. I don't mean that I see other people who get the title as having done it "cheaply" (it seriously doesn't bother me at all how other people chose to play and enjoy the game), I just personally feel like I lost that sense of accomplishment that I was experiencing while working steadily towards a goal.

But it seems like the overwhelming majority like to have their titles obtained easily, and I entirely understand that. Nobody likes grind, and I'm not by any means suggesting changing it back, because I'm the very quiet minority. I guess the way the system worked just became a soothing pattern that I enjoyed that is now gone. I kind of enjoyed not having the result come instantly.

Anyway, sorry for the disjointed thoughts and general wall-of-text-ness. I'm quite exhausted. I'm glad the update made so many people so happy though.
