P/A HM Vaettir Farmer

I figured out a way for Paragons to solo farm Vaettirs in Hard Mode. (:

Build:
*Deadly Paradox
*Shadow Form [E]
*Shroud of Distress
*Way of the Master
*Way of Perfection
*"Go For The Eyes!"
*Blazing Finale
*Optional

Optional should be:
-----Shadow Refuge. (If new to the build, this is a reliable panic button)
-----Light of Deldrimor. (If experienced)
-----Glowing Signet. (If needing energy)

Equipment:
---Full Radiant/attunement
---Any perfect "of enchanting." staff.
---Any Zealous Scythe of Enchanting.

Usage:
-Run from Longeye's Ledge to Jaga Moraine (Try not to aggro groups along the way)
-Grab the Norn bounty.
-Cast Deadly Paradox-> Shadow Form -> Shroud of Distress
-Aggro all Mist Vaettirs on the northern side.
-Once you have them aggro'd, cast Way of Perfection and Way of the Master while still maintaining Shadow Form and Shroud of Distress.
-Switch to your scythe and begin attacking to gain energy.
-Cast and maintain Blazing Finale.
-Spam "Go For The Eyes! on recharge.
-Soon they will be dead via burning.
-Repeat on the southern side.
-Collect loot and repeat. (Just run back to Bjora Marches then zone back into Jaga Moraine)

Notes:
Be very conservative about your energy.
This build can clear all 60 Vaettirs in around 3 minutes.
I am aware that this isn't the fastest build for Vaettir farming, but some of us are Paragon mains, and would enjoy farming with them. ^^

wow, that is really clever... never would have even though to use paragons for vaettirs. Do you have any problem with them breaking aggro?

That's not a paragon! That's a sin in disguise! There are only 2 skills on that skill bar that are actually from Paragon primary. The other 5 can be run on almost any class capable of meeting the energy requirements. I don't get how this is supposed to be new or original. When I first read the title I got the impression someone came up with a good non-sf way to farm with a Paragon primary.

tried it - would recomend using gda in last slot , it should be possible to do this farm without using any heals as ive done a/me and me/a with no heals and no deaths from actual dmg whilst under sf ( usually distraction or human error causes my deaths ).
Weirdly tho ( could be just me ) but when i was using zeleous scythe the energy pool seemed to increase very slow and unless my memories going i never recall any chrs using a scythe for nrg getting it so slow.Could be the mob of vaetires slowing me or making it seem slow.
So far now for actual vaetires we have a/me , a/me , me/a , mo/a , war with hero , ele , even ranger version ( if you want to spend an hr killing the 2 mobs - its slow ) , n/a and finally paragon gets a farm they can do solo - shame theres not a better way but its gd for a spot of farming.

Byteme - i agree it looks like a sin in disguise but at least its a farm a paragon can do in hm solo even if it means they have to use sf.

(and find/create for yourself the more modern variant)
Elite used is Focused Anger. (too lazy to post build, need to hit the bunk)
And there are lots of other para farms that can be done using that EXACT build...
If you wanted originality, the majority of para-farms DO rely on Blazing Finale + GFTE!(and/or other cheap adrenal shouts to trigger BF/Finale of Restoration).
It's hard to call them original if they all rely on a craptastic 20dps >.>

But getting back to the actual topic of the post-

It works brilliantly. Never would have considered farming these via para.
I have only ever used SF on my para to run before this!

It's true that it's using SF and the survivability is mainly based around the assassin.
But, only a paragon can use Blazing Finale to burn them to death. ^^
As I mentioned near the end of the post, it's a way for those of us who have main Paragons to farm. It's fun. (:

I made a build pretty much exactly the same as this around a year ago. with minor changes it can also farm ice imps, Most caster mobs in general, and UW. Most likley other areas i havent thought of.

Cool, I'll definitely try this out soon it could be a fun way to max out Norn for 25 and make some money eh

I am trying it now, but the vaetirs to the north are 30 right? Works very good! Only the drops are kinda dissapointing ;-)

24 at bottom ate 36 at top - best route if going for norn title is bottom then top as the bottom is just shy of the bonus and it allows you to get to top mob balled and reap 2 bonuses.If going from top to bottom you wont have enough time to ball and kill if you have any rep bonus.
If your just farming and dont care for rep then top>bottom or bottom>top doesnt really matter.
Has anyone yet tried with Gda in slot 8 yet ? its hard for me atm to get enough time to get my para thru norn an asuran ( sadly gameplay is second when wife and kids are all ill ) just to get the damn skill.
