New Title?

Dunno bout you guys but I thought it might be fun to have a fail title;

eg.Fail 100 elite misions=Rooky Fail
Fail in 250=Experienced fail
fail in 500=Advanced fail
Etc. I know this may suck but just a thought.

Also maybe one for dying repeatedly which gives LDoA another bonus;

Die 500 times without killing a creature=Adept Suicide
Die 1000 times " =Master of Suicide
Die 10,000 times " = FML Suicide
etc.

Just some of my crazy ideas...

People that suck at the game should get better at it instead of earning achievements for failing.

So BiP and dying on the first mob in Urgoz for new titles sounds awesome.

Rewarding players for screwing up things on purpose is not going to be beneficial for the game. As for the suicide title, not only has that been previously suggested, but it would also be rather easy to achieve.

A title for actually completing elite missions? I don't bother with Elite Missions much, just a thought. Although there's already a bunch of titles so eh.

Any title that needs you to fail in order to gain the title is stupid really.

I don't get why people always suggest such easy titles. I mean, it could be like : " collect 10/50/100/200... medal of honors" , " collect 1500/xx/.... zaishen copper coints " , at least players would have to work by themselves

At the moment ,both titles you suggest are very( too) easy to achieve , the second one can even be done by afking , thus /notsigned

i suck, i would hate to have a title showing it

imagine seeing shingjea sherman or whatever his name is and he spams:

"<Character Name> the suicidal, how many times did you have to die to get that rank?"

Also, "suicidal" implies that it is a title that is gotten on purpose, which would encourage /afk rez shrine dying, as for LDoA. Now if it were, say "<Character Name> the loser, is this your first day playing, n00b?" that'd be both insulting and hilarious to anybody nearby. In other words, this is a title that can only avoided by playing well, and you certainly want to avoid it.

Please note, this is NOT a suggestion. Don't even debate the pointlessness of what I just wrote. I just find the idea of someone getting called out by an NPC for being a noob to be hilarious.

Titles are not exactly like achievements.

If the game had achievements, there could be 'joke' ones, like one for killing yourself, or one for doing something you are not supposed to do, like going outside Thunderhead Keep during the mission and kill the enemies outside before they even get close to the Keep.

But titles in GW1 mark certain 'effort' over time.

A title for killing yourself is just plain silly.
