Imperial chef problems

I've got ingredients for imperial chef tian - For his dessert dish ^^ sounds revolting, but the problem is he won't take it! I've double checked everything and there's no way to give the ingredients to him

How to you do that?

Edit: I've spent a big amount of time getting these too.

Also i have another question: Can you give 5 types of each ingredients to one chef and then that will count as 5 dishes? Or do you need to give all 22 different ingredients to the 5 different chefs?

You have to wait untill the finale comes, the chefs take turns in asking for ingredients for their dishes.

The chefs only take the ingredients when they request them during the finale which begins at the scheduled time on Sunday and repeats every three hours.

Each chef only wants certain ingredients and will not accept others. To ensure a win for the district all chefs must receive all of the ingredients for their dish.

There is a list of districts being hosted by guilds (they have all ingredients and will give to chefs) which ensures a win. http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/c...l?goto=newpost Other districts will also be hosted that are not on the list as not everyone belongs to guru. You can still give ingredients and receive a gift for each one given, and then receive the winners prizes.

Anyway, i just need to clear this one thing up: You have to have -one- ingredient of -every- kind that all the chefs ask for, right? You can't get 5 of each type for one chef, and have that count as 5 dishes?

Emphasis added. Isn't that clear enough? All chefs = 5, so you can't just make one dish five times. All ingredients = 22.

Okay, good. I just wondered because i thought i could "make" the same dish 5 times, so i've been collecting 5 truffles and 5 half eaten blobs which has taken friggin' hours. Well, trial and error ^^

And YOU don't have to give them every ingredient. As long as the chefs in the district receive all the ingredients, the district wins!

Each Chef will take more than 1 ingredient when he asks for it, BUT only till he calls out the next ingredient.

And as above to get all dishes prepared you have to have all 22 ingredients(at least 1 of each) to hand over as they ask for them.

Really? So just one person has to collect the ingredients?

Is there any specific district people gather in to get the 5-dish bonus?

There are actually a lot of districts which are being sponsored by guilds.
Meaning that these districts will have all 5 dishes completed by the guild who is sponsoring the items.

Your best bet would be to just ask around in each district to see if it's being sponsored.
