War in Kryta non-quest rewards?

Hi, I stumbled across the shining blade camp prior to talking to Murro and it populated my quest in the log. I do not appear to be able to drop the quest in order to talk to Murro first. Will this iteration of WiK provide the reward items toward Oppressor weapons or will I have to complete the whole event and go back to speak to Murro?

Murro gives the inital overarching War In Kryta quest, not any rewards. You do have to visit the shining blade camp, listen to a dialog sequence, rezone (optimally to Tears of the Fallen), rezone, go back to the camp and listen to dialogs. You have to listen to 1-4 dialogs depending on if you watched gwen/thackery dialogs in HoM before going to the camp. Princess Salma doles out the rewards in Lions Arch Keep for War in Kryta quests.

So it sounds like you do not speak to Murro initially and you can still collect the rewards as the WiK progresses.

You can do various ways to enter the quest chain in the Keep at LA

You can miss out the Scavanger Hunt if you wish

By Just Doing Zinns Trial ( guy is just outside Viox Falls )then visit the Camp as above poster stated and in and out of tears of fallen until Gox and Zinn Appear the after that dialouge and you come back from tears the camp should be empty

Now you can map to LA and enter the Keep to start the wanted /quest chain leading up to Battle for Lions Arch.
