Best UK site to buy from?

So I'm moving to the UK shortly and will require at least a new computer screen due to lack of space when travelling. I was wondering:

1) Who is the online retailer of choice is to buy computer components/accessories from in the UK?
2) If there is any site which compares UK prices across all online retailers (eg: in New Zealand we have Pricespy http://pricespy.co.nz/ which finds the prices from all NZ retailers)

You can't go far wrong with overclockers.co.uk or dabs.com or ebuyers.

Maplin is my techy-go-beep site of choice http://www.maplin.co.uk/ they also have a lot of stores and pretty knowledgeable staff in my experience.

As for price comparison I use Kelkoo http://www.kelkoo.co.uk/ to get some idea of the various retailers, then investigate from there.

But but but - Maplin sell crap - have you ever browsed their catalogue? They're great for things like cables and connectors, but for PC components? Hell, no.

Ive ordered a lot from all the sites mentioned here, Ill add http://www.scan.co.uk to finish the list off - out of them all Id say scan has the best customer service and good prices, ebuyer has cheap delivery if you can wait 3-5 days, overclockers has some good weekly deals

but if you want anything you should compare the price on all these sites,they all usually have some special deals going from week to week, there is no price comparison site that compares these sites

dabs have fallen a long way from where they were, I dont use them anymore

maplin is good for those obscure things, like the coaxial to optical adapter I got there not long ago

scan also offer accidental damage cover very cheaply for the installation of your goods, I got it last time because I was teaching my son to build pc's, it cost <£10 per pc for the cover, well worth it imo

This. There is some serious money to be saved if you font mind ordering different components from different sites. If you don't mind waiting a while you'll probably find that half the stuff you intend on buying goes on sale on one site or another over the period of a few weeks.

In addition to those already mentioned:
Amazon.co.uk are generally very competitive, just check what company is selling the product.
Play.com as well, generally for CDs and DVDs but they can be decent for hardware as well.

overclockers.co.uk for me. Bought all my hardware from them, and they have good technical support.

Their prices may not always be the cheapest, but for a few extra quids, I'd rather deal with them than some obscure online retailer.
