haven't played that particular game, but it has a reputation as a poorly ported console game, so I wouldn't be surprised... with that said, you could check the BIOS and see if it allows an option to disable the intel graphics accelerater completely. That will of course, screw your battery life, but it should fix the problem with GTAIV.

cpu i3-370m 2.4 ghz (4 cpus)
2gb ram
hdd 320
nvdia geforce 310m 1gb
and an intel hd which is integrated
the problem is that gta 4 doesnt see nvdia
i dld the last driver which could let me chose the video card but gta 4 still didnt saw my nvdia
other games run with nvida, ike arcania(gothic 4) ,when i tried to run with intel it didnt work.

I have a SAMSUNG computer on which I'm playing 8-ball-pool.. My problem is that I have difficulties; the queue is sometimes halfed and it need a long time until I can shoot a ball.
Do you think the problem is my graphic card or does anyone have the same problem with a Samsung?
