To kick off Wintersday Desolation Lords have gotten into the festive spirit and come up with some HoM contest prizes.
The rules are as follows.
Lottery - This is a drawing for an Armbrace of Truth. Winner was #20 Ailie Alhenai
Scavenger Hunt - This is for a full set of Hero armor to fill your Hall of Monuments. The first person to post all Screenshots that duplicate the pictures we post will win a full set of Hero armour (complete sets of armor remnants for heros). The screenshot must match area and hero, with yourself (character ofc) in screenie. Winner will be contacted via Guru for an in-game name. This Contests starts on the 12th Dec 10.30pm GMT where we will then post the original screenshots for you to find.
Spider Run - 5 spider runs will be given away. To win this complete this sentence. 'My Spiders name is ................... because ...........' Winner will be notified by PM on Guru for an in-game name to contact by the 21st Dec to set a time for this to happen. This starts now and will run to the 19th Dec, the best ones will be chosen an placed on DL forums to be voted on by Officers.
UW Statue - This is for a HM run through The Underworld. To win this complete this sentence - 'Dhuum sent me a special invitation because...............' This contest will run until the 19th Dec, the best sentences will be chosen an placed on DL forums to be voted on by Officers. Winner will be notified on Guru by PM by the 21st to set up a time for this to happen.
The Big One - There will be 4 different prizes to choose from. The winner will have a choice of the prizes, the 2nd prize get to chose from the remaining items, 3rd Prize between the the last 2 items and the 4th prize will be the remaining prize. This prize will consist of either Obsidian armour, Vabbian Armour, Luxon/Kurzick Armour or a Full weapon set for HoM.
To enter this contest we have decided on a " Wintersday in GW theme". This is what Wintersday means to you in form of a video, poem or screenshots. Entrants for this will stop at 10pm GMT on the 19th Dec. Winners will be notified by the 23rd, an in-game name will have to be posted with your entrance. You will be contacted in-game so we can make a time to get the armour/weapons you choose. If the winner cannot be contacted within 2 days, the 2nd prize winner will get to choose, this is so that the winners will not have to wait on getting their prize.
