Currently, I'm a Freshman in highschool, and I occasionally like to play Guild Wars! There....that should be enough information for you! .

HOW IT WORKS!


Signing up for a free commission is easy! First, take a close-up screenshot of your characters face (profile image.....Boosting up your graphics for the screenshot is a huge help if possible!!!) Then, simply drop a post here introducing yourself, your character, and the wonderful screenshots you took!



MY STYLE!


I work exclusively with pencils and paper at the moment, and I only draw portraits of a character's face. I understand that this is somewhat limiting for a commission thread, but hey...its free! . Below you will see some examples of my work!

RULES + RESTRICTIONS!


1.) Portraits only! sorry!!
2.) No intricate helmets, blindfolds, or mesmer masks PLEASE!! Scar patterns, monk tattoos, bandanas, etc. are perfectly ok!!
3.) Be friendly! Anyone who posts a rude, mean, or insulting comment does not get a drawing! CONSTRUCTIVE CRITISISM is appreciated!!
4.) Be patient! The waiting list may fill up fast, and please understand that I am, in fact, a student and that I have a limited amount of time to dedicate to these commissions!

Why do you use lined paper?

Note to all: I have updated the waiting list with the order in which I will complete the commissions!!

@Aeronwen - I used lined paper in the sample drawings because they were all drawn over the course of several algebra classes last year....and lined paper was the only thing I had access to . The commissions that I complete at home will be done on normal printer paper.......P.S. don't worry, you'll get on the waiting list once I have finished a commission! I haven't forgot about you!!

ummm as a maths teacher I can't applaud your attention span in lessons. I do hope your algebra did not suffer.

I was always drawing in school, and managed to keep my grades up at the top of the class. I didn't always remember what we did in class, but I found it easier to study things by myself afterwards anyway. I loved learning at school, but I also thought it was the best place for drawing.

We were allowed to listen to music while doing our homework or studying in class. It worked really well for me.

I actually cross-stitched in the back in one of my middle school geometry classes. Our geom teacher gave us cross-stitch patterns and material to help her make geometrical patterns representing the 50 states that she found in a cross-stitching book. In retrospect, omgwtfbbq i fell for free child labor D:

And I was not drawing while the teacher was giving lessons. I only had time because I would finish the tests/quizzes/projects like 25 minutes before the other students. Those three sample drawings took my entire 8th grade year, working off and on in school when I had time to burn.

I appreciate your concern though

^^ Sorry. I agree that it's wrong to be a disturbance. I was a jerk as a teen. Less so now, I like to hope. I got As and graduated with honors and got a full ride scholarship to college so I must've been doing something right. But that doesn't absolve me from how awful I was to that teacher.

Pay attention in class.

Might explain why my qualifications aren't worth the paper they're printed on. Well, that and the fact that I loathed school anyway.
