Which is better for her? This sword or Deldrimor Sword? Here is her build, I'm a panic mesmer so hex the enemy a lot.

Also I don't understand why there is no "cruel" unique sword.

I give my Jora a longsword, it looks gargantuan in her hands!

The Deldrimor Sword is better, but you could mod that to be the same anyway, so use whichever one has the skin you like more.

If you have the Bonus Missions you could use Turai's Sword for Jora, looks great in her hands, and you could mod it anyway you want. plus its free, great for warrior hero's.

Igneous Blade looks good as well

First off, that Warrior bar needs work.

Secondly, like the above posters, I think you should go for a larger weapon. I'm not sure how well it would match with the default gold armor, but the Deldrimor Sword looks good.

Slight thread hijack but when we finally get 7 heroes I'll need a melee hero to replace my bro who is a 100b Warrior.

I've tried experimenting with an Erfshakur hero but the knockdowns are rather sporadic, plus my Panic mesmer seems to shut them down efficiently enough. What are the viable melee hero options?
Dervs don't seem to be considered much anymore so is some kind of warrior build the way forward?

Dervs don't seem to be considered much anymore so is some kind of warrior build the way forward? Melee heroes are a giant pain in the backside. I love mine, and use them regularly (yes, in HM), but I can certainly see why most don't. If you're looking for a "super" quality hero replacement you might wish to look elsewhere.

As for builds, your best bets are likely going to be something along the lines of D/W Zealous Dervish and W/A Enduring Axe, both of which perform reasonably well (all things considered) by using their elites to completely sidestep a lot of the problems melee heroes currently have. Any build that follows that model - give them infinite energy/adrenaline, a bunch of skills they can gleefully mash at random, and watch them go - should do okay.

Be forewarned that trying to use Hundred Blades will probably see them running around like retards with it on, essentially wasting it a significant portion of the time.

As far as I'm aware, Assassin heroes are currently useless because the AI doesn't understand how to combo attacks (more than once). If that is not the case anymore, for whatever reason, I'd love to be corrected.

Here's to hoping the melee update gives them some much needed love.

Edit: Fixed links 'cause I wasn't paying attention.

So replace with Dragon Slash?

As noted flail only gets used on KD'd foes, and 33% slower movement is not a good thing with all the headless chickening your heroes will be doing. Your IAS options are basically burst of aggression, or frenzy if you are ballzy.

Unless you are placing mark of pain smartly I would go with some warrior's endurance variant.

It's one of these myths that got started and people keep repeating. In any case, at PAX this year I spent a while talking to the guy responsible for writing the hero AI (John Corpening), and the way it actually works is each skill is evaluated on its conditions but this still only provides a probability of being used. It does not work on a strict priority system, but instead is intentionally not deterministic, as he feels that makes things more interesting.

SPEAR

As for the build, Flail + 7 random spear attacks.
Or you can try making a Spear/Strength/Tactics split with Charge + flail + some other shouts to boost the party (but apart from Charge, loltactics), or a Spear/Strength/Command split with Flail + shouts. Yes it's a gimped paragon hero, but hey you chose to gimp yourself by wanting to play with Jora to begin with.
