Pumpkin Pie

Doesn't pumpkin pie start dropping during the Thanksgiving weekend? Or am I just too early?

It usually does start on thanksgiving and lasts threw the weekend....

It started on Wednesday last year.

The answers quite simple - anets goofed up nick and that means nick hasnt been told yet about the drops which he`s meant to be carrying lol.
seriously tho - i was wondering when it started as well as its tuesday now and no login notices for event.Lets just hope its not a repeat of easter last year when anet didnt announce easter drops till i think on the day but after drops started.

Dear Santa .. can anet please have a staff member who can keep announcements how they used to be - almost 5 days in advance - so us little people would be happier as we would know when events start and not miss them.

Plain vanilla weekend events have always been announced on Tuesday, and special weekend events have almost always been announced on Thursdays. Been that way forever...

but this weekend is supposed to start on wednesday, so if they announce it thursday that would be a bit after the event had already started, no?

the last 3 years it has started the day before thanksgiving

Couldn't they have put a "normal" weekend event + these crap drops....

I saw this thread and said "omg there's pie!!"

But there isn't any.

True, (and I did say "almost" ), but I was specifically addressing this comment:

They have always been pretty consistent, and it has not changed. Special events were never announced five days in advance.
