Question about Monument of Valor

Hi, i am sorry but i searched and did not find a concise answer to to my doubt.

About the monument of Valor, when it says " 11 weapons full display" does this have to be on just one character? or can i have different weapons in several of my characters that belong to the same type but are different, and when in HoM is displaying the weapons for account i get the full display. I´m confused

It can be on several different characters.
Same applies to all monuments.

but check carefully what weapons your getting a friend doing it messed up and got a tormented staff and it wouldn't go in seems he already had one.

You can only display one weapon of each type. So, if both your Necro and your Monk have a Destroyer staff in their HoM, you will only see, and get credit for, one Destroyer staff in account wide view.

However, different types of weapons from different characters will be displayed and count. For example, a bow from one character and a Spear from another, or a Destroyer Staff from one and an Oppressor Staff from another.

Also make sure that, if you want to use different character's weapons, you display them with that character so they can actually use it afterwards.

(Got a Destroyer wand for my monk...and had a brain lapse and displayed it with my Dervish. Whoops. Guess one of my heroes gets a nice shiny weapon now...)

Yeah just before the hom calculator I dedicated everything on one char. Guess my heroes on that char have plenty of destroyer/tormented weapons to use....

Yeah that´s what i was thinking, i did not want to have for example a scythe assigned to my Necro just because it was the only way to get the "full display" to count.

So what i´m thinking is getting 11 Opressor weapons as i already have a Tormented shield for my warrior and a healing Destroyer staff for my monk, now this is what i´m thinking to do with all my characters:

Warrior: Torment Shield + Op Axe + Op Sword + Op Hammer
Ranger: Op bow
Paragon: Op Shield + Op Spear
Necro,Mesmer or Ritualist: Op Staff
Monk: Destroyer Staff + Op Scepter + Op Focus
Dervish: Op Scythe

And this leaves the Opressor Daggers out since i don´t have an assassin and i´ll have to decide which of them will have them lol, maybe the mesmer for Illusion weapon

Warrior, Ranger and Paragon have viable PvE dagger builds if you really want to use them yourselves instead of storing them on a hero.

yep heroes have quite a few of my HOM weapons....and you can have both a tormented and oppressor on the same character (my ranger has both bows)....
