Please A-Net, you just nerfed Battle for Lion's Arch, a group quest, which is pretty managable because you have a group, but then you go and introduce solo-missions where one death means failure?
Its hard as hell for people not skilled with a new skillset, so PLEASE put in a resurrect so the no-skillers like me can enjoy the new content too.

Does not change the fact that it is hard and there should be a resurrect for players not good at solo-content

I haven't died yet. It's just a matter of watching aggro.

Remember: His 3 condition removal DOES NOT need to hit in order to remove conditions, and I spam the hell out of my heal skill. It recharges pretty quick. Sniper shot anything Miku calls and you'll be fine. I sniped the boss without even having her call it and got 905. :\

PS: "Does not change the fact that it is hard and there should be a resurrect for players not good at solo-content".... I can't solo to save my life. Soloing scares the bejesus out of me, and it did when I saw I was alone with Kieran. It helps to thoroughly read his skills, he's incredibly powerful (Look at his attribute points!) and his attacks hurt -- bad. If you're just careful and watch aggro, nothing will give you trouble.

Honestly there were times in the first quest where I over aggroed and still won.

Can we please stop over simplyfying everything?

I mean, I'm really sorry, but if this is NOT hard. As said before, you can littereally run in, aggro up to 2 groups and still roll your head over the keyboard and win. This is no exaggeration, this is how I steamroll these quests.

Instead of asking for the game to be set by your standards, try and raise your standards by improving at the game. Read the skills, read what they do and try and use them optimally.

The bar is so straightforward, though, I really can not see how you could possible die unless you're not using skills.

On my first character I rushed a bit too much and didn't really know the skills yet and failed on the second quest a couple of times (two groups in a row with a knocklock sin and an SoS rit doesn't help either).

My second char went much smoother and finished the second quests within 10 minutes (the first quest is very easy and more forgiving than the second).

A few tips:
- Position Miku so she takes some aggro (she lags behind you and doesn't start fighting till she actually gets aggro, your calls don't do anything)
- Watch who she hexes and oneshot that target (skill 1)
- The interrupt (skill 3) recharges very quickly, use it often
- Save the Heal (last skill) until you both take a little damage
- If Miku dies, run away, foes will lose aggro. Miku will res on her own.
- If running away, skill 2 inflicts Crippled, use it on a persistent foe.

The npc is expendable too so if you're gonna eat dirt just run away and let her get her face smashed in. She'll pop right back up moments later. At least on the second quest.

Make sure you interrupt the foes who have a a res (often will be the warrior, etc.)

Seems like a lot of people want instant gratification and don't want to learn to use the skills provided. There is nothing wrong in failing an attempt if you learn from it.

I ran about 5 missions on various characters so far and I died once because I got bored and distracted. As long as you're careful and know what to kill first and when to run it's not particularly hard.

Well these mission are not so easy that you will plow through. As long as u keep the heal up, deal with single groups, and kill healers first you will get through. Besides I dont think Thackeray wouldve died on the mission anyways, keep it real!

Games are not TV. You don't deserve to just sit around and wait for the ending. You are encouraged to use your brain to figure out the solution to the problem. The people who storm through this are the ones who think things through, consider their options, learn from their mistakes, get on and do well in life and become your boss.

If you need help then ask for advice from someone who knows what they're doing, it's ok to ask for help every once in a while. Or if you're really stuck wait for some help with the problem to be posted here or on the wiki, or try and figure it out yourself.

If you keep waiting for a handout, you'll never really get any true satisfaction from life, you'll go through everything being unimpressed, expecting things to be handed to you til the day comes and you realise that you have nothing while everyone who tries, succeeeds far more and is better off, more intelligent and far cooler than you.

edit:

And for everyone who enjpys a challenge, yep you deserve your rewards

I don't think the OP is out of place in what is said. Some people find such wild change difficult. If there's people who really are having difficulty with something, asking for help is perfectly fine.

What I have a problem with though is asking for a change to be implemented to suit a praticular playstyle. The one-life per play system is just like a regular mission. When you fail, you have to restart. I think that's perfectly fair in some parts of the game.

Comfort zones are dangerous places to be.

It's really easy. You've got a strong heal over time skill (spam it, it's the last skill on your bar), a condition removal (save for when needed), a couple of quick recharge bow attacks one with AOE (spam), and a cripple (save for melee on you), and a skill that does instant kills if you follow the assassin's target. (spam) There's not really much that can go wrong besides you not using your healing skill at all TBH.

Yep, ya see, someone always comes along with help. I'm sure you won't need more than this to play through it if you're stuck. Well done dude

I don't see what's so hard about reading skill descriptions for yourself, THINKING about what you need to use when and then applying that logic to the scenario.

No, you're not going to do everything first time. That is where learning comes in. If you really want spoonfed content, don't play games, watch films. I've not even done BLA yet and I think it's a shame that it got nerfed. I'd like them to nerf Eternal Grove for people who solo, but it's not going to happen. Instead I will just have to revise my strategies until I manage it, or finally give up and ask for help :P

The OP said that he's a "no skiller". My advice is to play the game more, for them to start thinking for themselves and to develop those skills that are lacking. It's really not difficult ¬_¬

I've heard from numerous people in my guild and alliance that Keiran has pwnage skills and I'm itching to try them out for myself. Also heard that his heal is very strong so you must simply be not using it as said before.

Also, just because YOU'RE having difficulty doesn't mean that everyone is. YOU find it too hard, MOST people don't seem to. Therefore the fault is with YOU and not THE GAME (and I hope you realise you just lost it as well).

I failed the first three attempts and then after I got used to the skills (hell, I even spammed some while waiting for the mark to be laid), the two existing quests were a breeze. Keiran is 'haxx'. He has 20 in all of his skills. I don't think they need to place a resurrection in these quests. It all boils down to 'l2p'.
