Name the dumbest thing you've done in GW.

Quitted 3 months of Guild Wars because I accidently deleted a PvP character with a Kole's Torment on it with the price of 500 gold.

Like everyone else, I've done stupid things in GW. The list would be too long. I don't recall anything too major (except I accidentally merched a q8 Chaos Axe once), mostly a bunch of little things:

I STILL get lost in Kaineng City.

Ditto in the Escovald Forest.

Ditto in The Falls.

Actually, ditto in any part of the Maguuma (my guild doesn't let me navigate or even hold the map anymore.)

Did the whole Zimm's Task quest. Got to his hideout in the Falls (got lost for over 20 minutes). Realized I forgot to bring MOX.

TODAY: Did Zaishen Mission on my Necro. Forgot to pick up the quest in GToB first. Did it again.

I didn't do it, but i got a black dye drop in riverside province up in one of the towers. The rest of the party thought it was HILARIOUS! -.-

Got a golden crystalline sword around 2 or 3 years ago and npc'd it because i thouhgt the skin is crap :P

getting all excited with the purchase of my first tormey weapon from the collector. As i was browsing the list i guess i double clicked on an item and received something i was never going to use, haha.

I also did things that were unpredictable (i.e. selling destroyer weps for 25-30k before HoM was introduced)

I sold a Q8 +5 En Chaos axe for only 75e. Found out later I could have had offers for like 100's.

I know ive done many stupid things but cant remember the majority bc I was completely smashed on absinthe(irl).

-I accidentally sold my obby helm to merch. Yes I was drunk.
-Right before I quit GWs to go play WoW I gave away over 4000 ecto and came back 2 years later with 26k. Thought I was never comming back(lulz).
-Again got incredibly hammered and raged all day in RA. Later found out I made a post on this site that didn't make sense and was mostly gibberish.

Today...Used about 100-150 minutes of alch....before I relised I was on the wrong char.

Was the first time I ever did that in this game really and at least im not an everyday drinker

I regret spending so much time on the game... over 5k hours over 4 years.....
should have gotten a job..... but this game is sooooo fun.


One of the dumbest things ive ever done was when i first got the game, I ran around Ascalon city asking people how to weild weapons.....

Not selling my q9 15>50 Crystalline. It's still sitting on my warrior that I never use.

With a female character and name, I pretend I'm a girl for desperate guys to get free stuff. Afterward, I tell them I'm a dude.

That was dumb because I could've leech off them for more goodies for a lot longer before revealing my true identity.

Oh well, time to pretend I'm a 22 girl again to get some gold.

The stupidest i've done in Guild Wars was back in 2007 when i was new to the game.

I remember reading PC gamer in my school library and finding a code for a miniature asura. I quickly wrote the code down on a piece of paper and decided to waste no time so i went home and typed the code in, and sure enough the mini asura appeared in my inventory.

I quickly decided that i was gonna make a huge amount of gold by selling this mini so i went to LA and typed "WTS mini asura 2k"

For me it was a huge amount of gold at that time and i didnt realize until after a couple of weeks what a dumb move i had made

I am so gonna try that next time I'm at my school library.

Deleting total of atleast 8 lvl 20 progressed character's..i can think of 2 warrior's/ranger/monk/2 necros/2 rits..my original mains and character with 25+ maxed titles for example...

Did this last week. Was blasting over to the dragon's gullet with my rit just laying behind a trail of spirits to draw aggro. AFTER zoning into DG I noticed that a BLACK DYE had dropped in the last zone.

Accidently used a regular salvage kit when trying to pull off a major vigor rune from armor.

Lmao, Voodoo, both of those screenshot bring pain. The black dye one had to hurt.....

Woah, I'm surprised you salvaged the survivor rune before the minor soul reaping one since that costs more. LOL

Perfect Salvage kit used first followed by what I THOUGHT I was clicking the EXPERT KIT but was actually just a run of the mill "salvage" kit.
