Regarding HoM & GW2

Has any information been released on if the rewards given are based on a single HoM, or multiple ones? For example if I have several primary characters will I benefits from all of them?

The rewards are account based.

According to Anet, during the next two months all the information regarding HoM and it's rewards will be out.

We know awards will be account-based. That's pretty much it.

It's unlikely that if you have, say, multiple characters with legendary vanquisher that you'll get rewarded for anything beyond the first character's achievement.

As mentioned previously, the rewards are account based, and all information regarding the Hall of Monuments and Guild Wars 2 will be released "very soon", as they said.

Yes, they've told us it is account-based. They've also told us there will be a point system where a player may earn "x" points for gw accomplishments, then use those points to acquire special stuff in gw2.

What they have NOT done yet is provided specifics about what constitutes the maximum of the achievements, nor what the special stuff will be. They haven't confirmed whether GWAMM awards any more points than just simply filling the hall. They haven't confirmed whether any 20 minis will do, or if the handful of people with kanaxai get something more, etc.

I am guessing that a full hall with GWAMM will yield the most points, regardless of the specific titles or items. I am also guessing that multiple GWAMMs will yield no additional points, and that one GWAMM will yield more than none. But that is just my guess. Until Anet releases their plan, all we have is speculation.

Not necessarily. The HoM is in GW not in GW2. So the issue is relevant on this forum site.

I suppose it could be posted in either one; but you can't really deny the fact OP didn't seem to use the search function. Searching both first would be helpful.

EDIT: If I remember reading the articles correctly, there WILL be a Hall of Monuments in Guild Wars 2 as well, so that you would be able to "claim your rewards". (Also, on an article that was released recently: for the most part, the 'rewards' are only going to be skins of weapons - but this can change, seeing how the game isn't even out yet).

Aww really? Is this 100% confirmed?

I was wondering about that, guess there's going to be a limit of how many points we can get then. I really wish they would release this information already. Wonder what's taking them so long, I'm sure they already have the information planned out.

Since it is account based, gettng more than 1 of the same title is pretty much useless.
