It seems they are trying to get you to get your 10 free z keys from gtob, then buy them for next to nothing. At least to me that what it appears. Anywho...this is the wrong section for this post....Q&A would be a better place.

It's a common scam that's ironically not against the EULA.

Basically, the Scammer looks for low-level, guildless, or otherwise inexperienced looking guys. He then suggests that you accompany him to the GToB (typically an empty district) to get your account registered for PvP. Then, he shows you how to use your free tournament reward points to get 10 zkeys and tells you they're worth 1k each and promptly offers to buy them for 10k.

The scam works in different ways. Some guys will say that the keys are only worth 500g/ea and that they'll buy them for 1k, or that they're work 1k, but they'll pay 2k. Either way, the Scammer ends up making about a 4-to-1 return.

Basically, it's an easy way to make stacks of zkeys/money off of noobs, and since it's not a forced scam, it's not against the EULA.

Someone posted in the "What's The Stupidest Thing You've Heard While Playing Guild Wars?" thread that they'd recieved a confirmation from the support team that a player was suspended for defrauding others. This was for trying to get someone's zkeys on the cheap.

Go to GToB (great temple of balthazar) and talk to High priest Zhang

Then after receiving the 50 points go talk to Tolkano and exchange them for Z keys. 50points =10keys

Oh, it's very simple. Let me take you to the GToB and I'll help you get them. They're only worth 500g/ea, but I'll be glad to pay you 1k/ea for them.
