You think that giving back Holy Wrath is the "smart thing"? Did you understand the update at all? Most of the things that could be 600/smited still can, just a bit slower. That was kind of the point (to an extent).

Anet doesn't support/approve of farming.

So why would they revert skills back so you can go back out and start farming again? Do what everyone else does already, and find a new build or deal with the changes. Or here's a thought. Play the game normally. Scary huh?

People didn't quit the game cause one build was made a bit harder. Giving it back, would state that it was removed, which it wasn't. You can still 600/smite all you want, just a bit more difficult now then it was before.

They do approve of farming. Just not stupid ones that can farm the entire UW with minimal effort and time that breaks the game. Besides the fact that the skills are usually mended due to some game breaking feature or inbalance.

Once one thing comes along and everyone sticks with that particular norm nowadays no one sees any other solution to farming but there are plenty of creative builds.

Farming is pretty much a culture of its own in guild wars its a legitimate pass time for most of the players. It is a way of playing the game remember that please.

They also don't give too much of a crap about PvE, farming, and its economy in general. They're actually pretty damn impartial for saying that they don't like farming.

Also, they even support farming with such arbitrary claims such as, "we like to give players the niche in PvE they want by farming high end areas repetitively."

Look at all the nerfs that happened way too late. Look at the things that should be nerfed right now.

ANet is just indecisive about nerfing farming until it proves to take away from their aggregate number of players.

Lastly, 600 monks don't RIP. Burn in hell.

I miss being able to 600/smite with HEROS. I don't want to bank on other people to be there when I want to farm! Now, I have to try and command a STUPID hero to cast Soj and HW on me constantly.

I really do wish they'd give it back, I'd be incredibly happy.
Don't you want to make this 5k+ hours addict happy anet?

Yea make Holy Wrath crap in normal PvE and another stupid farming skill. Then the game will be perfect once again.

Ignore this i think farming makes this person Q.Q.

but eh im borederline. I liked 600/smite but it wasnt really that good for the economy(most dungeons were doable with 600/smite).

so eh im borderline but eh /sign. Id be ncie if the people that dont like healing to use monks again(yes im saying monks cant nuke i just dont think they are good at it imo )

yeah if they revert holy wrath they should revert shadow form in all fairness because of all the people who left when shadow form was nerfed.

nerf sf, or give holy wrath back
i don't see why they approve running-pass-everything-type SC but not kill-everything-type "SC".

600/smite is doable, the only people who complain about holy wrath are the people too bad at this game to adapt.

this was a one-way street and there's no going back, Anet had their reasons to nerf farming and agree with it or disagree, they made their decision.

How can you say they don't approve of farming when Shadow Form is STILL Bugged and Vlox's is still packed full of permas running dungeons lowering the value of Bone Dragon Staves and Emerald Blades.

Would these dungeons still be possible in this way if the damage didn't decrease with stacking enchants? I know Vaettirs would be dead for a sin.

my monk hero uses this skill, it works well, as the tanks/minions get dmg and revert 33% back to source
yes, i'm trying to make a nice monk hero smiting build, just for fun, and it may actually work in normal stuff, too

its not an upkeep, and thats why its better for general pve, upkeeps take away 1 energy pip, so more energy

i dont farm or run dungeons, but i dont think skills should be made better just for that purpose
this game should base more on general pve, and they always can change skills for pvp-only, they should've done that in the beginning

so, let it stay like this, or give it lower recharge, would be good enough for that skill

They didn't nerf Holy Wrath they fixed it, they just took to long to do it. Don't get me wrong I abused it while I could but the skill has a -10 energy requirement for each time it triggers. When you can't supply that energy the skill should have just ended.

Anyway as mentioned above 600/smite still works just takes a little more time.

Funny how he is ok with the SF nerf but not the holy wrath nerf. A little hypocritical if you ask me.

OP, please come back when you've got a better argument for why Holy Wrath should be reverted.
